The house is very well maintained, the cleaning was impeccable, we enjoyed the attention of our host (coffee capsules, water, heating put). The linens provided were clean and smelled very good. Marie who welcomed us was very kind and pleasant. We felt right at home. Our dog had space. We will return to this rental on our next trip to Limoges! Thanks to Marie and Elodie.

We had an excellent short stay at Mary's place. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside in a very quiet part of France where the Limousin region meets that of the Dordogne. Highlights were the wonderful bakery in nearby Piegut-Pluviers, and visits to Brantome (a magnificent setting on the river) and St-Jean-de-Cole a beautifully preserved village. Mary was helpful and friendly and there is a long list of restaurants and outings at the property.

We had a very pleasant stay with a group of friends. the evenings by the fire leave magical memories. A pleasant heat already reigned in the house when we arrived because our host had turned on the radiators before we arrived. If the opportunity presents itself, we will gladly go back.

We were greeted in person by Marie Andrée, which is always appreciated. The accommodation was perfect for our stay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we could only have had time to enjoy the large and beautiful garden. I would definitely recommend it.

I spent a week with my friend at Marc's in one of his cottages, we were hosted very well and he offered us a welcome drink and introduced us to his estate! There are many amenities available such as a large swimming pool, gym, bike loan....... It's really a quiet and exotic place near his pond where my friend was proud to fish a carp with Marc. Thank you!!!!!☺ Marc is a superhost and a good cook where we were able to enjoy a pizza from his restaurant!!! Really great place and very attentive to guests!!! See you soon, maybe!😉 Julie & Addah

We just finished our stay. An amazing stay. A little nest nestled in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, the trees, birdsong and ponds really bring an extraordinary peace. We even managed to catch fish, to our delight. We had a warm welcome, it was a really nice meeting.

We had a great time with friends. The house is beautiful and very well restored. The garden is large and the pool too. Young and old loved this place! The great starry sky and cool summer evenings completed the warm sunny days. Everything was very clean and the large kitchen was very functional to prepare the big tables. The outdoor BBQ also served us a lot. The area is very beautiful and very quiet with little tourism. I would definitely recommend this home and would love to go back! Helen and Mark are very responsive and we even got some check-in gifts!

Large Gîte in Picturesque Perigord Vert

This is a good sized property, perfect for our party of 9, which included a 1 year old. Three bathrooms, two kitchen areas and two lounges plus two terraces. Meal prep was great as plenty of space, utensils, pots, pans etc, and crockery. The pool was amazing, sunken with steps into it, gated too, and lots of loungers and two good sized parasols, we took advantage of this by night swimming too, in a little pool. Couldn’t ask for better hosts than Jan and Ningsih, from the lovely welcome and telling us about places to go etc, to bringing over some things for the baby, they were there but not there if that makes sense. They made us feel like we could be at home for the two weeks. Really quiet location, friendly locals and a car is essential! The pictures really don’t do the property justice and we absolutely loved it there, we would definitely go back there without a doubt. Thanks to our hosts for a memorable holiday. We stayed in the little barn, which was beautifully comfortable and well equipped. Jane was a very friendly, helpful and generous host. The pool and garden were immaculate with peaceful countryside views beyond, and our friends were staying in the Mairie so we had the entire property for our group. Renting both properties was superb for several families/generations staying together.

Large and well-equipped accommodation, we were 2 families with small children and Leigh provided us with all the necessary equipment. Small downside on the cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery, we had to rewash everything before the first use. Please note that some photos of the listing are no longer relevant, including the small pizzeria supposed to be on site, that's a shame...

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.
