I can’t recommend Jean’s place enough. It was truly lovely. What a peaceful and beautiful environment. I really enjoyed my stay there. Jean was such a great host. I was really appreciative of the nice bottle of wine and bottle of Perrier she gave me as a welcome gift. I definitely hope that I will be able to return one day!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Marc et Denise, qui sont de supers hôtes. Le cadre est superbe, le logement est charmant, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. N'hésitez pas à réserver leur table d'hôte, vous allez vous régaler ! C'est aussi très bien situé, vous trouverez de nombreuses escapades touristiques dans les alentours. Nous recommandons grandement leur gîte :)

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Amandine was so welcoming and helpful making many recommendations. The property is in a lovely location and offers amazing accommodation that feels very homely. With a hot tub and pool you are spoilt for choice. Only 10 mins from Sarlat and 15 mins from Domme it is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Highly recommended

Tout était parfait! Logement très propre, linge de lit impeccable, literie confortable. Logement très bien situé et excellente communication avec Sandrine et son mari qui nous ont bien guidé et recommandé les incontournables de la région. La réalité correspond aux photos sur le site . Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison ancienne typique de la région périgourdine . Très bien située , elle permet de nombreuses visites .La vue sur la vallée est superbe avec le soleil couchant ou la mer de brouillard .

Ce sont les détails qui font la différence pour passer un excellent séjour dans un logement. C'est exactement ce qui nous est arrivé lorsque nous avons posé nos valises dans la maison d'Yvette. Que ce soit au niveau des équipements ou des consommables, nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la qualité et l'abondance des produits proposés. Cette maison possède, selon moi, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer d'excellents moments. Propreté, agencement, qualité du mobilier et de la décoration. Tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez Yvette. Pour être honnête, vous pourriez avoir l'impression que c'est un ami qui vous prête son logement pour quelques jours. Je ne peux donc que vous inviter à profiter de cette maison située dans l'une des plus belles régions de France.

Domme is a favorite destination pf ours and the house is within easy walking distance to all that this charming town has to offer. It is perfectly located just off the main “shopping” street in town. The rooms are spacious and airy, and the private courtyard garden is the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon relaxation. Julie is a great host - always prompt with her responses, and very flexible and accommodating with our check-in time. I highly recommend staying at this lovely house.

Die kleine Wohnung ist technisch in Küche und Bad sehr schön neu ausgestattet! Der Garten ist traumschön und die Nachbarn sehr nett. Die große Terrasse kann man sich aus dem Schuppen selbst ausstatten. Der Fluss ist in der Nähe und ermöglicht nette Spaziergänge. Mückenmittel empfehlenswert. Der Ort liegt günstig, um mit dem Auto Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Périgord zu machen und bietet selbst eine hübsche kleine Altstadt, in der man alles Nötige findet. Angenehm ist der Supermarkt, mit frischem Brot ganz in der Nähe. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Magnifique maison, au calme, au cœur du Périgord noir. Les quelques jours étaient particulièrement ensoleillés. Le matin, petit déjeuner sur la terrasse en surplomb face à la nature qui s’éveille. Le midi, déjeuner à l’arrière de la maison à l’ombre dans le jardin. Le soir, retour sur la terrasse pour un dîner face au coucher de soleil. Le tout, sans vis-à-vis. Les seuls compagnons peuvent être les moutons voisins et les chevreuils. La maison est vaste et agréable. Et le hamac intérieur permet un repos original, au frais, lorsqu’il fait chaud dehors. Le logement de Margot est parfait pour un séjour dans cette belle région, situé idéalement tout en étant dans un environnement paisible. La maison est bien équipée, décorée avec goût et agréable à vivre. Tout était parfait pour notre séjour. S'en oublier les petites attentions de Margot qui font toujours plaisir. Vous l'aurez compris, nous vous recommandons le logement les yeux fermés. Merci Margot pour ce séjour.

Excellent séjour en famille dans le gîte du Bugue ; les lieux sont parfaits pour se réunir. Excellente communication avec Marc, dont les nombreuses conseils de visites ont été très appréciées. À recommander !

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Lovely modern home in a beautiful rustic setting, with chickens, cherry trees and a sweet little truffle hunting dog Lubie on site. Very gracious hosts who communicated well in English. Many charming towns nearby and 12-15 minutes from a good supermarket and shops in Le Bugue. The campground next door was like a cruise ship some evenings but all noise stopped by 11 pm. We loved everything about our stay. Merci!

Der Aufenthalt im kleinen Haus von Anne war außergewöhnlich schön! Wir wurden herzlich von Anne begrüßt, bei der man merkt, dass sie gerne Gäste hat. Das wunderschöne kleine Haus hat sie so eingerichtet, wie sie es für sich selbst machen würde. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail ausgesucht, das Bett unterm Dach ist bequem mit tollem Ausblick nach draußen, man findet guten Kaffee vor, Pflegemittel im Bad und sogar einen Grill mit Holzkohle und Anzündern. Als wir da waren, waren gerade die Feigen im Garten reif, die wir pflücken konnten - die Steinpilze aus dem Wald, eine gute Flasche Wein vom örtlichen Weingut, eine Reservierung im "Le Bistrot du Presbytère" (um die Ecke und spitze!), Anne hilft mit allem aus, um ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie nur möglich zu gestalten. Das Haus selbst und seine ganze Einrichtung sind so schön, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, der Garten und die Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen ein Traum. Wir möchten am liebsten gleich wieder hinfahren!
