Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ruelle-sur-Touvre

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Nadine and Daniel are truly outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond to prepare everything for us, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved chatting with them and indulging in the delightful meals at Nadine's table. It was a warm and memorable experience that made our time in France incredibly special! If I could give more than five stars, I would, because five stars are simply not enough to convey how exceptional they truly are.

Claire and François are very friendly hosts. Their house is very nice and ideal for a family vacation. The park around the house will delight the children!

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

An unforgettable stay at the Manoir Souché, We had an absolutely magical time, the setting is exceptional, perfect for unwinding. Between the sauna, the jacuzzi, the pool and the games for children, everything is designed for relaxation and fun, both for adults and children! The hosts were adorable, available, and caring. You can feel that they put their heart into providing a great experience. No downsides to report. We'll be happy to go back!

Exceptional location with space for multiple families. Do something from the outside. We had a great time at the expansive facility. The housekeepers were very communicative and attentive. The interior is of course a bit bieder to the location but not without charm. The kitchen equipment can't keep up with the otherwise great facility. The bedrooms are exceptionally beautiful, the bedrooms have been placed on it, and it shows it. Beds were very comfortable. Overall a great experience.

Nice house in a peaceful space. For a stay for families or groups of friends, it is the perfect place, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and corn. I can only recommend this lovely place! Additional information: be careful to have his obedient dog because the garden is open:-)

Annick and Patrick are amazing hosts? They are helpful and friendly and speak several languages. When we stayed with them they took us and several of the other guests to an outdoor food festival, which was great and then after that we walked around the lake and saw a live band and had plenty of singing and dancing. They are very knowledgeable about their home country and eager to impart their knowledge. You cannot go wrong staying at Tartou with this couple and the fabulous views over the countryside.

Charming house, very spacious and very welcoming, very convenient location compared to all the activities of Angouleme and its surroundings. You can park your car there like a public transport line. Marie is very responsive and friendly.

A beautifully curated house, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We like to cook, and the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had in an Air BnB. The living room is comfortable and full of beautiful artwork, with a large smart tv. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the attic room is air conditioned which was welcome on hot days. The swimming pool was a little chilly but did not stop us enjoying it every day. The house is well located for exploring the region, but also perfect to stay at home and relax. Philippe and Catherine were very friendly and easy to communicate with, thank you!

We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

In the 40+ places I have stayed on Airbnb, Steph’s is one of the very best. A huge and private space, beautifully and artistically decorated and furnished, full of quirky decor, and the most lovely welcome. From freshly cut flowers from Steph’s garden, arranged in a vase, a little posy of fresh herbs in a vase in the kitchen, dinner and breakfast for your first night/morning provided, big fluffy towels, amazing shower, the list goes on. The outdoor space is divine. I spent a lazy afternoon watching swallows dipping in and out of the pool and butterflies everywhere. The sweeping views of the valley are so calming. It was unseasonably cold when we were there and Steph very thoughtfully messaged to check we had enough firewood (we did, so well stocked). Steph & Dave were amazing hosts, gave us complete privacy but so friendly and easy to chat to when we saw them when we were coming and going. Perfect for couples or for young families, I really hope we get the opportunity to return.

Pleasant accommodation as described and well-equipped. The setting is green and the pool facing the accommodation is lovely. We were able to enjoy the barbecue and have our meals outside in privacy. Angouleme is quickly accessible by car. Roxanne and Jacques are friendly. I would highly recommend it.

We had a great 2 weeks with our children at Martine and Daniel's. The hosts are very friendly and are committed to making the stay enjoyable. We enjoyed impeccable, spacious accommodation, a beautiful exterior, lots of calm, splendid views of the countryside... The kids loved the pool! We found many things to do: nature walks, castles, caves, swimming in a lake… A big thank you for hosting us!

We had a fantastic stay at Claude's French Airbnb in Dignac. Claude was very welcoming. The converted barn is situated in a beautiful setting with a backdrop of a sunflower field visible from the swimming pool. The facilities are spacious, the bedrooms are a good size, and everything we needed for our two-week stay was provided. Our kids loved diving into the pool, and there were plenty of activities for both couples and families in the area. Claude's recommendations for places to visit were spot on. For the kids, there are high ropes nearby, a swimming complex in Angoulême, and numerous opportunities for canoeing among other activities. A bit further away, there is a fantastic cave called Grotte De Villars which was a highlight for us. Thank you, Claude, for sharing your home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here.
