Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rothenburg ob der Tauber

My family of four (two adult kids and my wife) all stayed at this lovely home for two nights. It was a fantastic oasis for us as we drove through the region on vacation. Great spot! Would recommend!

We stayed a couple of nights at Hedwig’s place and were very happy with the accommodation and the beautiful location couldn’t have been more private and peaceful. Hedwig met us for check in and although we couldn’t speak the same language we got a thorough tour and knew exactly where things were. Hedwig’s husband bought us some bread for the kids to feed the deer which was so lovely. Hedwig recommended a restaurant up the road so we gave that a go and it was delicious. Messages were always responded to very quickly and we were very happy. The beds were comfy too!

It's a lovely town with polite people and excellent accommodation in a quiet area.

an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment, the best one we've ever stayed at :) it was perfect. impeccably clean, fresh smelling bedding and towels. comfortable bed. lovely furniture, modern barn style house with absolutely everything we needed. stunning little garden area surrounded by beautiful views and birds singing. honestly I can't say enough good things about this beautiful place. if I could pick it up and take it with me for the rest of my travels I surely would. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. Especially nice: dogs are welcome! I would be happy to book again anytime – highly recommended!

The house conforms to the description in every respect. It is very pleasant, very comfortable, very quiet while being close to all amenities. We enjoyed the barbecue, heated pool, sauna and beautiful garden (and the singing of many birds!)

It's just something very special to stay in a medieval tower of the city wall! The small apartment was just great! Hiking, wine, discoveries, all right outside the door or the gate! 💖 We can simply recommend the accommodation from the heart!

I wish we had stayed longer. It’s a beautiful private space/apartment on the ground floor of the family home. The location is great !! A short walk from the train station and even shorter walk to reach the walled city center ( 2 minutes). From the wall entrance it’s about a 10 minute walk to the market square. Book it ready you won’t regret it!!!

Very clean and cozy, we immediately felt at home! Great communication with Frank! Own parking space was also nice, and also a private seat outside which also felt sheltered and private. An example for Airb&b!

I stayed with my parents, and it was a really comfortable and satisfying accommodation. The kitchen, toilet, and room were all clean and meticulously maintained, so I felt the host's attention to detail. When I walked around the accommodation, two cute cats greeted me, so it was a warmer memory:)

Fantastic stay made even better by Bastian and his family. From helpful instructions on how to navigate public transport to nearby supermarket directions, the hosts were able to help with whatever I needed. They replied quickly and in fantastic English. The accommodation was clean, well supplied and very peaceful despite being across the road from a local tram stop.

Beautiful apartment in basement of their home. Eva was a wonderful host. Everything was perfect! Easy walking to all of attractions and restaurants. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

Top spot, tram around the corner that takes you to the city center. €10 for a day pass for groups of up to 4 people. Shops such as Aldi and Lidl can be reached on foot. Lovely quiet neighborhood and parking in front of the door. Beautiful large balcony (second floor) where you can have a great breakfast. We'd love to come back!

I booked this Airbnb for my friends while they stayed in Germany for my wedding. Absolutely beautiful area. Very walkable especially to the train station. Host met us there and gave a tour. Very friendly and gave us lots of good tips

We were super happy with the place. It met our expectations. And the location is amazing, of course. You can't get any closer to the landmark of Bamberg, great.

Many thanks to Ingrid for letting us book the accommodation so spontaneously! The instructions in advance and on site were very helpful and good. The room on the first floor of the house is furnished with two comfortable beds and in the evening you can sit comfortably on a small terrace in front of the house. The bathroom and kitchenette are quite small, but sufficient and fully equipped. Ingrid herself is very likeable, hospitable and helpful. Looking forward to seeing you again!

I liked it because the house was so tidy. They were considerate of us so that we could comfortably use the first floor as a private house while traveling with our family. When you need help, they come and solve it right away, and the chat response is fast~~. Both of them were so kind. I booked it again on the last day of our trip~~:) Always happy. Thank you.

It is a very nice and spacious apartment, well cleaned. Everything is sufficiently available. Only a small balcony for 4 people. The host Sandra is very friendly and welcoming.

Beatiful place, amazing view. I highly recommend staying at this place, the host ia very attentive and provides lots of instructions. Check in is digital so you can arrive at any time at no extra charge. The views are breathtaking. The place is very very well decorated, very modern and extremely clean. Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
