Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

From the veranda there is a panoramic view of the emerald green Oppstrynsvatnet and the surrounding mountains, as well as a view of the glacier Breifonna which is an arm from Jostedalsbreen. The villa has a large sunny terrace with partial roof top.
