What a magical place! The house is in one of the most breathtaking spots we’ve ever visite right between the mountains and the water. Waking up to those views felt unreal. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Endre was a great host very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was clear before our arrival. The check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated how quiet and private the area was. It was the perfect escape from the city and gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the nature around us. Gorgeous scenery! Great view of the mountains from both the front and back of the house. The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect as it was remote and private while also being close to the Hellesylt ferry and other attractions. Amazing stay, would absolutely recommend!

Sonja was kind and communicative and her home was perfect! It was a wonderful retreat and had everything we needed. Proximal to all the gorgeous sites in the area. Would recommend in a beat!

Amazing place and view! We also had the opportunity to test the new beautiful sauna that is located by the sea with a lovely view.

We used this location for 4 days and had 3 families under one roof. We did some hiking, the via ferrata, The Golden Train, and the gondola. Ole Petter was responsive to any concerns we had. A bonus for the 3 year old we had with us was the friendly horses that were in pasture next to the house. Even when it was raining, it was a beautiful place to sit and look out at the mountains.

We could feel how much love and care for the details is being invested in this place from the first sight, and we immediately wanted to treat it the same way. Terje was a warm, caring and thoughtful host and we had an unforgettable weekend at his gorgeous place! Stunning views, beautiful nature and a perfect symbiosis between the old and the new. We‘d love to come back one day.

Silje's cabin on their dairy farm was wonderful! The views from the cabin are nothing short of spectacular! The cabin itself was clean, roomy enough and checked the boxes for a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower that was easy to regulate (although the enclosure was small, like most of the Airbnb's we've stayed at in Scandinavia)... The whole vibe was private and peaceful, just keep in mind it is a working farm, with the associated aromas and equipment sounds... Fairly short drives to things to see and do near Olden/Stryn... If she's available, have her give a tour of the dairy operation--fascinating and informative! We appreciated her passion for the animals and the farm... We LOVED our stay here!

Kristin is warm, super friendly and proactive. Made us feel right at home :) House is nicely curated and has everything you need. Just 15 mins from the city centre, gives best of the both worlds - peaceful and yet all the places are easily accessible.

Traveling in Norway since the beginning of June, this accommodation deserves the Palme d'Or!! Everything is perfect, the welcome, the small gifts… it's the only place where we had this most beautiful welcome and what an area for this more than reasonable price - thank you very much

We really enjoyed our stay here in Rauma. We were 4 adults with a 1.5 year old child. Our daughter loved the animals on site and the toys (both sufficient for indoors and outdoors) and they always kept her well occupied. The location is excellent for exploring/hiking the surrounding area (by car). So, from here, we got to Ålesund, Andalsnes, Molde and Geiranger very well. The living room has a great fireplace and we were allowed to use the wood on site. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for self-catering on site. All around a great vacation home. We would book again anytime.

A great place to stay and a great host =) we had a wonderful week in the house, and even if the weather didn't always cooperate, we were able to enjoy the time. Steinar is great - always available, short-term suggestions depending on the weather and always very helpful. We will be happy to come back =)

Great view, on a farm with chickens, sheeps, cats and a rooster! Great base for hiking and climbing. It is their home so fully equipped.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

We have spént a very pleasént evening at your place … . It s a shame we could not stay any longer !! Next Time may be !

Our stay at The Opera Farm was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we had the best time seeing the lovely views, hiking near by and going out in the paddle boat on the lake. The house was cozy and quaint and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We decided to eat two of our meals at the hotel on the mountain above our house that is owned by the farm and it was the most amazing dinner and breakfast I have ever had! The chefs were fantastic and the food was unique and so flavorful in every way! Everything was perfectly cooked! The view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone who stays in this house to at least eat one meal at the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the beginning to end was so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to go back and stay here again sometime in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Jo's apartment. It is a nice space that is bigger than it looks in the photos. Serene countryside location which is walking distance to hiking trails and a very short drive to town. We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed for longer! Thank you!

I had a great time in Hans' & Elin's charming house. It was easy to find and everything was quite near- shops, bus & cruise stops. It was very peaceful after a day of walking or sightseeing.
