Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Rensselaer County

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Barry and Alisha’s place was absolutely amazing! The house is spacious, beautiful, and full of character, with thoughtful details that made it truly special—especially the room with the hidden entry, which was such a fun touch. The property itself is incredible, with the biggest lot we’ve ever seen and private trails that are perfect for relaxing walks. It’s a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. Barry and Alisha were wonderful hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay even better. We had an unforgettable time and would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Can’t wait to come back!

Trina’s place was so wonderful. The location was perfect. Just a few minutes to the ski resort which was amazing. The surroundings were so beautiful to wake up to! The pool table was a big hit with my group we had so much fun. Just keep a look out when arriving or you might miss the driveway.

Stayed here with a few friends for a wedding. Was easy to find, quiet at night, had plenty of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. Hung out in the upstairs area and the porch in the morning. Would stay again next time we’re in the area!

The house was very spacious, the kids ranging from 6-10 loved the games, especially cue ball and fuzz ball. The adults loved the fact there was a lower half where the kids can watch movies and play, while the adults did grown up chatting in the living space. A memorable ski weekend that everyone enjoyed to the fulliest and sad it went so fast. We look forward returning one day in the spring or summer to see a different aspect of the area. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very cozy and clean. The backyard was my favorite part, since we were travelling with our dog and he very much enjoyed freedom in the yard and a nice weather! The area is very peaceful and quiet.

My friends and I (three couples) stayed at Gary and Shana’s beautiful Airbnb for Valentine’s Day weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house was stunning—cozy, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our ski getaway. Gary and Shana were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. On the morning of our departure, they even arranged for the driveway to be plowed, making it easy for us to get out after some fresh snowfall. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. We had an amazing weekend and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and hospitable host who left out snacks and anything we might have forgotten. Felt at home and place had everything we needed. I had difficulty finding driveway because it was dusk but I saw a sign during the day. The unit is attached to another house which I didn’t realize in advance and went into wrong driveway.

Needed a place for the month and the Nook was the perfect alternative to an extended stay. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating for my timeline. The Nook is charming and everything the description says, no hidden surprises like some other AB&Bs. Clean, quiet, friendly, couldn't ask for much more. Would highly recommend!

I came in late in the evening of 12.24.2024. Richard and his wife where waiting for me at the apartment, to let me in, give me the keys and show me the apartment. Since the next day all the stores where closed, they had some groceries waiting in the fridge for me, to get me over, which was very kind of them. Since I have been to the area for the first time, Richard also told me some places in the area, that are nice to visit. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and I had a very pleasant stay.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the NY mountain woods and love the rustic brewery experience, this is an awesome place to stay! We enjoyed driving the mountain roads by day, exploring neighboring towns (especially getting a mineral spring spa bath and filling a few gallon jugs at the Saratoga Spa State Park with the State Seal mineral water). By night we enjoyed the various beer offerings of Jon the Beer Diviner in the brewery, especially liked the Stout and the Scotch Ale (Glen was right : ) Saturday night we loved the live music and delicious pizza too. Great fire pits on the deck which we enjoyed mostly on our last night all by ourselves after everyone left. Peaceful, eclectic place and exceptionally nice folks, Cindy and Jon! Got some great ideas from the local patrons, Cohoes Falls for one! And even though the weekend was rainy and it snowed as we were leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed this off the beaten path gem in the woods and you will too! We will def be back <3

Warm (it was a cold February), safe, clean, modern, and peaceful. I really enjoyed my time there. Robbie was super helpful and a great communicator. It was very private and restful after busy days.

Had a great stay! Walkable to MVP arena and restaurants. The apartment was immaculate and beautiful and very comfortable. Beds were great. Lots of towels. Neighborhood feels a little off the main street and we walked briskly at night, but was well lit and walkable..just something to be aware of. Angela had clear instructions and felt private and cozy inside the apartment. Having a parking space was great...but also easy parking out front. Thank you!

Enjoyed my stay at Todd's in Albany -- super convenient walking to the State Library/Archives and the whole capitol complex. Washer/dryer was a huge plus for my 5 day stay. Very responsive to my questions and requests! Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Paul’s place! We had easy access to the mountain for skiing. It was wonderful to have a ski locked to store our stuff outside of the room. In addition to the wonderful accommodation our kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool after a long day on the slopes. Highly recommend Paul and his accommodation!!!

We always book with Dawn! Her place is amazing. We feel right at home. She ensures the house has everything you could need in case you forget something. There are extra details to make your stay more comfortable. Her linens are softer than mine at home! There is plenty of space for my family of five to stay comfortably. I highly recommend booking here! We can’t wait until our next stay here.

Clean and cozy apartment. Everything was just as described, but of difficulty using the code to get in but that was it. Neighborhood might be a bit sketchy but nothing bad. Good host and overall great experience.

We spent a nice, early March ski weekend at this place - got lucky with the skiing and found the place ideal for our needs. Were traveling with a pet and the location was perfect from her perspective as well.
