Donna was a great host. She was quick to reply whenever we had questions! The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. The grill was easily accessible and we had a great time sitting on the beautiful porch and visiting. We would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this perfect home! The host was very responsive and friendly, the house was comfortable and clean, and the area was very interesting with places to walk and explore. Sher had some really thoughtful amenities - built-in nightlights around the house, an extra toothbrush (my son forgot to pack one so this was really handy), shampoo and soap, and plenty of games. There were plenty of spaces for us to gather as a family with enough space to spread out and relax. The porch has a spectacular view and the covered patio is a great option to get out of the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, dishes, and utensils - which was great since I was cooking Easter dinner. Beds and pillows were comfy. And the shower was luxurious! We would love to come back again - Stillwater looks like a fun place to be in the summer!

My friends and I (three couples) stayed at Gary and Shana’s beautiful Airbnb for Valentine’s Day weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house was stunning—cozy, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our ski getaway. Gary and Shana were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. On the morning of our departure, they even arranged for the driveway to be plowed, making it easy for us to get out after some fresh snowfall. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. We had an amazing weekend and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

This place was exactly as described and perfect for us and, especially, our dog. It was great to feel that she was as welcomed as we were. The garden was perfect (long and fully enclosed) for Zoe to run around and chase her ball. The house was clean and comfortable. We got a little confused by the Monday parking rules, but that was no fault of Anthony and we appreciated getting the heads up. Communication in general was clear. We will definitely book here again if we ever need to pass through Albany. Highly recommended, especially to visitors with dogs.

We were there for the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga. It was a great location and it was in a very quiet neighborhood with hardly any traffic going by. Inside it was very nice and accommodating - spacious kitchen with all new appliances, large dining room and living room. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and operational - just right for our party of 4. We communicated with Brandon several times and he usually responded within 15 minutes which was great. We appreciate that! All in all it was a great trip and Brandon's place was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it. Reasonable price, great location, great home, and a very pleasant renter. We didn't win any money at the track, but the stay was excellent.

I stayed at this apartment while searching for a home in the area. The unit was exactly as shown and described in the listing. The hosts were responsive to requests, friendly and hospitable. Would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in the empire plaza area

Very friendly and hospitable host who left out snacks and anything we might have forgotten. Felt at home and place had everything we needed. I had difficulty finding driveway because it was dusk but I saw a sign during the day. The unit is attached to another house which I didn’t realize in advance and went into wrong driveway.

Needed a place for the month and the Nook was the perfect alternative to an extended stay. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating for my timeline. The Nook is charming and everything the description says, no hidden surprises like some other AB&Bs. Clean, quiet, friendly, couldn't ask for much more. Would highly recommend!

Spacious lower unit that is very well-suited for short or long term stays and remote workers with a car. Great television, reliable and fast internet, and a well-stocked kitchen. One can tell the hosts put thought into the home’s design and furnishings, which are economical but stylish enough. Two caveats: 1) the unit is open concept, so it cannot get very warm in frigidly cold weather; if the temp will only reach 20 degrees F or below while you visit, the unit would not be suitable for anyone who runs cold easily. 2) Troy’s hills are steep enough that this place, which has a fairly nice view of nature and Watervliet, is not within a reasonable walk of downtown Troy, RPI, or any commercial centers. It’s very convenient for people like me who needed to commute to Albany and other locations throughout the Capital District, but for those wanting to experience Troy and hoping to limit driving, other locations might be preferable for you.

Wow! The space was perfect for our family celebration! It looked like the pictures yet better. We were pleased with the space and accommodations. The word that came up, “thoughtful.” Everything was wall thought out and thoughtful— from coffee and creamer to hand and body soap. To all the towels we needed. It was perfect. Lovely. Lovely space. The neighbors were friendly too.

The absolute perfect location at the heart of the Berkshire Yoga Festival! Loved the location. Very comfortable for two people. The host was very quick to respond and was accommodating. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Hi Wendy, Aside from the surprise of the steep driveway, your place was fantastic. The drive way was ok once you did it a few times but I suspect it is not available in winter. The house is cozy and really nice. I left a message in your log book also. If you have not had the chance to see Eastfield Village, it is only a few miles from you and really a nice place to visit. Thanks for making this rental easy peasy. Arron

I have had a lot of good luck with finding people from my soul stream through airbnb but this one is next level. Yes, there are mozzzies and other little guys, they are also part of our ecosystem, this is how rivers work. Go with the flow, allow the nature and the insanely cool architecture of the bridges replenish your mind as you hear the busy people running along the bridge in their cars. This is a pocket of magic that you can tap into - literally, put your feet in the water with a bonfire at the riverbank and attend the thoughts and emotions you might be running low on. The river water will wash, filter and take away what needs to be taken away while leaving you with new space to fill with love and gratitude from this environment. respect, love and magic to all who can see.

The Treehouse is what I imagine when I dream of a perfect cabin in the woods. Every detail is curated with love, intention, and comfort in mind. Unlike most Airbnbs, every piece of furniture here is actually comfortable—you can lounge anywhere. It’s beautifully secluded, down a long driveway, surrounded by nothing but trees and nature. The architecture is stunning, filled with natural light—perfect for both rest and inspiration. The master bedroom is cozy, the shower pressure is great, and there’s even a writing desk for quiet work. Outside, the fire pit and hammock complete the dream. I truly had the best weekend of my life here. Mike and Melissa are incredible hosts—kind, responsive, and respectful. Check-in and check-out were seamless. I can’t wait to return. It’s rare to find a place that feels like it was built just for you, but The Treehouse somehow does that. From sunrise through the trees to starry nights by the fire, it’s pure magic. Treat yourself—you won’t regret it.

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as great! This time it was during the winter when I really needed to rely on the woodstove for heat. That stove gets cranking after a good layer of hot coals are established. I have to say, though, the only thing I would love to see is a damper/flue on the stove. Without those them it causes a lot of smoke to come out into the cabin when adding wood/tending to the fire. I feel it would help control the level of heat and smoke that much better. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait for my 3rd stay.

The space is luxurious and stunning even more beautiful than the photos, so thoughtfully designed and really helped us feel at home at once. Matt and Sarah were so helpful whenever we had any questions. We had such a relaxing stay and feel so grateful to have been able to enjoy the space!

We had a wonderful stay at Zak’s cabin! It’s a very cozy and private place well away from the road. It was nice and warm inside and the hot tub was lovely (make sure to start heating it a few hours before you plan on using). There were a couple things that seemed unfinished: no hand towel or toilet paper holder in the bathroom, no blinds on one of the walls, etc. but it was overall very charming. I would mainly recommend it to people that are used to camping rather than someone looking for a luxury experience: there is a compost toilet inside for #1 which you bring outside at the end of your stay, and you have to go outside to a portapotty for #2. There’s also only 35 gallons of water to begin with and you need to request instructions to refill the tank if you need more (lasted us about two days). This water is only for showering, and you have to bring your own drinking water. Very cool spot to stay! We had a great time!
