Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rensselaer County

the airbnb is very homey, well stocked, and easy to navigate. we had one slight issue with a mess that was not found by the cleaning crew, but robert was friendly and shared our concern about this.

Great place to stay and fitted all our needs. Great hosts I highly recommend.

Janice made our stay super easy and was very responsive to any questions. Was a nice cozy house with our kids for a short ski trip to nearby Jiminy Peak.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfect home! The host was very responsive and friendly, the house was comfortable and clean, and the area was very interesting with places to walk and explore. Sher had some really thoughtful amenities - built-in nightlights around the house, an extra toothbrush (my son forgot to pack one so this was really handy), shampoo and soap, and plenty of games. There were plenty of spaces for us to gather as a family with enough space to spread out and relax. The porch has a spectacular view and the covered patio is a great option to get out of the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, dishes, and utensils - which was great since I was cooking Easter dinner. Beds and pillows were comfy. And the shower was luxurious! We would love to come back again - Stillwater looks like a fun place to be in the summer!

We’ve stayed at the Stephentown Hotel before in individual apartments, but this time we rented the whole hotel for a group and it was amazing! The host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is pet-friendly, and we enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ area. The host even provided nice extras like a s’mores kit and roasting sticks, along with water, granola bars, and coffee. Such thoughtful touches! Each apartment had arcade games, adding to the fun, and the space was perfect for our group. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend the Stephentown Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, fun, and well-stocked place to stay. We can’t wait to return!

James is great to deal with, the property is perfect to do what you need to do while in Troy, Ny and have a nice clean safe place to stay!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very cozy and clean. The backyard was my favorite part, since we were travelling with our dog and he very much enjoyed freedom in the yard and a nice weather! The area is very peaceful and quiet.

Pamela was very responsive and accommodating. The place was clean and as described. We appreciate getting in an hour early. The high chair came in handy for our infant! We had a party in Clifton Park so this was a great location for my family to stay. The diner and Mexican food within walking distance was convenient.

We had a lovely stay in MA. We weren’t in the Airbnb much but the time that we did spend was quiet and peaceful. Blown away by the communication and responsiveness of the host. I left an earring behind and the host reached out to me a day after we checked out, and mailed it to me immediately. Super grateful for such a helpful host and a wonderful experience in the mountains!!

This house was so much fun! Awesome river access, a clean pool, fun things to do in the house. Nice and open spaces so everyone felt included at all times. The host was super helpful and friendly! 10/10 recommend

We enjoyed our stay at Elijah’s place. It was just as described and Elijah was very responsive before and during our stay.

This wasn’t my first time staying @ Joe’s. It provided a clean space for us to hangout and relax between our matches. The house is a must rent!

Megan’s place was perfect for our trip back to upstate. We left the air bnb wishing we could just live there as it was perfect for our family. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future

Pulling into the driveway we knew this was a special Oasis. The grand pine trees lining the drive and yard were stunning. Then.. the Gardens. My how beautiful! We watched a new bird family spread their wings for the first time... butterflies visited wherever we were in the garden, yard and pool... The pups enjoyed every moment of the deck, house and incredible yard! And.. the Pool! A huge hit for all! Warm and beautiful.. birds singing everywhere. We had a fire in the main living room every morning and a fire pit fire at night outside on the lovely large deck. Our family of 8 adults, one infant, and several dogs could not have had a better family vacation. Denise and Eugene were very responsive! We had a few small issues that were resolved very quickly by their neighbor Allison and her husband who helps out Denise and Eugene and is very friendly! We enjoyed a game of mini golf with ice cream to follow nearby.. as well as a great lunch at the local Mexican restaurant.. a favorite now for sure!... Norte Azul Cantina.. just a few minutes from the house! We walked the serene neighborhood and enjoyed the wildlife (saw deer!).. and a butterfly hitched a ride on my granddaughter's stroller! .. gorgeous mountains, meadows, ponds... and friendly neighbors:) Thank you Denise and Eugene for an amazing stay. We will certainly be returning!!

So the night that we arrived the power was out through out the street. Dakota responded right away. Told us where we could go for candles. She kept checking in with us to make sure we were doing okay. That was our best night. Cards by candlelight. I highly recommend this property and we will be going back. We had the best weekend.

We had a great stay and everything was just as described. We chose this place for the included off street parking and walking convenience to MVP Arena and it did not disappoint. Water and coffee/creamer/sugar was appreciated. Comfy beds and plenty of space for 4 adults. We would stay here again if traveling to Albany.

Our stay was lovely, Alissa’s place had everything we were looking for. Remote but not too remote with beautiful views, quiet, clean and cozy. And Alissa was very responsive and easy to work with - we would definitely stay here again!

Just the right amount of space. We were attending an event at Jiminy Peak resort which is not pet friendly. Renee's cabin was cozy and quiet. We loved listening to the Brook in the backyard.

We had a great few days staying at James’s apartment, although as we were there for our nephew’s graduation we mainly used the apartment for sleeping. The park across the street made for a peaceful quiet street, and we loved the old brick of the street. Parking was simple as we arrived after the 2hr parking ended for the weekend, and James’s instructions for getting in were simple. The place was super clean and uncluttered. We lived how close it was to Lark Street for dinner. I did have a little trouble with the back neighbors talking outside until the wee hours of the morning, but moved the air purifier to the bedroom for white noise the second night and slept super well after that! Wish we had more time to explore but enjoyed the Savoy Taproom on Lark St and Betty Boop diner a bit farther away!

Melody's apartment was the perfect base for our visit to Nassau and the Albany area. Comfortable, clean, warm, centrally located, quiet and peaceful - it had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Our dogs loved it too! Highly recommended if you are visiting this area or just passing through.

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as great! This time it was during the winter when I really needed to rely on the woodstove for heat. That stove gets cranking after a good layer of hot coals are established. I have to say, though, the only thing I would love to see is a damper/flue on the stove. Without those them it causes a lot of smoke to come out into the cabin when adding wood/tending to the fire. I feel it would help control the level of heat and smoke that much better. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait for my 3rd stay.

Jermaine was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The place is just as described. I am familiar with the area, so I was aware of what the surroundings would be like. It was extremely clean and served the purpose for our needs.

What a gorgeous home. Quality inside and outside. One of the most peaceful places, pure bliss and beauty everywhere. This home celebrates that spectacular view and provides a space to relax and rejuvenate. So tastefully decorated, every detail was considered with special extras here and there. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The sofas were pleasantly cozy. The kitchen and pantry were well appointed. The overall space was shining with cleanliness. We were a group of 5, we all felt comfortable, loved our private bedrooms and the cozy space for family gatherings. The convivial atmosphere left us excited to plan our next gathering. Joshua and Hugo were communicative and accommodating, they even let us check in early! Thank you for the use of your home. We had an amazing weekend.
