Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

Our country suite is nestled on the 2nd floor of the horse barn of our gentleman farm. It features a one bedroom with a queen bed, open concept living room & full kitchen, a large bathroom with washer & dryer, spacious entry and a large deck. A queen sleeper sofa with mattress pad allows for an additional two guests. With Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort the backdrop at 1.5 miles away, it is perfect for a weekend getaway or lengthy vacation should the numerous area attractions keep you here longer.

The winery tasting room is open Saturdays and Sundays from April/May to October/November ~ special events/requests may also be considered! This is new construction and we are still working on furnishings, window coverings, plants, etc. Price reflects this work-in-progress ;-)

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

The White Oak House is a charming, fully restored Greek Revival home, located on a farm of 95 acres in the upper Hudson Valley in the rural township of Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY. Irish-Inspired Hunt Box Retreat for Horse Lovers

Set on 38 acres, the home is influenced by Irish equestrians. Its owner Kelli spent time learning from some of the best horseman in Ireland who resided in their own “Hunt Box”or small living quarters connected directly to the barn. This cabin is our most romantic cabin on the property. Our gigantic rain shower in the bathroom has an 8'x5' wall mirror and a French door that opens out to the forest. If you are a cook, this cabin is a chef's dream. You might also like our stunning new cabin called The Farmhouse.

Airbnb @ Sweet & Savory Farmette

Welcome to the AirBnB situated on a small working farm. You are welcome to tour the grounds to say hello to all the animals. This place is for the birds! No really you will enjoy watching chickens, ducks, emus, geese, guinea fowl, and peafowl. The farm is also home to a herd of beautiful alpaca and resident llama, curious goats, and barn cats. There are working livestock guardian dogs who watch over the herd who will greet you from behind the fence.
