Our stay was fantastic! The location is great with lots of land to explore. The house was rustic but had everything we needed. Note that there is no TV - this was actually a plus for us as it encouraged us to spend more time on other activities. The hot tub was clean and had a great view. Overall, it was a tranquil experience in a great location. I’d recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend away.

My family and I only stayed for one night but thoroughly enjoyed and made the most of our time. Joan and Tom were exceptional hosts and incredibly welcoming. They were generous with our check-in and out times, very attentive and kind enough to clear the pond to allow us to skate in it before we arrived. The house itself is spacious , charming and very cozy. There were little notes everywhere that were scattered around and very helpful in such a big house. My family especially appreciated the proximity to the horses. Overall a great experience

This little cottage is very comfortable. Its quiet and peaceful, but also provides easy access to local activities. You can just sit around and enjoy all the nature, or you can take a quick drive into town and go to some high quality museums or eat at a number of local restaurants. Its got a fenced in yard for the dogs as well as a bbq and firepit. This was our second stay and we would highly recommend it.

We always book with Dawn! Her place is amazing. We feel right at home. She ensures the house has everything you could need in case you forget something. There are extra details to make your stay more comfortable. Her linens are softer than mine at home! There is plenty of space for my family of five to stay comfortably. I highly recommend booking here! We can’t wait until our next stay here.

Brianna's place was exceptionally clean (the linens smelled clean and fresh and the bathrooms were spotless) and thoughtfully equipped that we felt right at home. It was also very reassuring that Brianna was very responsive and clear in her documentation about the house and check-in / check-out instructions. I wish we could have stayed for longer! Such a quaint home, in a peaceful location - super close to Jiminy Peak. Would love to visit again!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was very conveniently located to the base of Jiminy Peak, which made getting to and from the mountain very easy. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed. We used the fireplace twice and it was super easy. Having access to the facilities at The Country Inn at Jiminy Peak was great as I am injured and can’t ski currently, so instead I went to the gym each day. My family didn’t want to leave and my kids are asking when we can go back!

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

We got a little snow but otherwise would have enjoyed hiking around the property--there's plenty to explore!

Had a really lovely family get-together at Kayce's , which we dubbed "The House of Fun". It was the perfect place for our family get together, with lots to do (even on a rainy/sleeting day) with pool, ping pong, karaoke downstairs and a quieter living room upstairs. Especially appreciated a dining room table able to easily seat 12 and the spacious kitchen where we could hang out and cook. Kayce was very responsive and friendly. All agreed we should do this yearly if not more!

We had a party in Clifton Park so this was a great location for my family to stay. The diner and Mexican food within walking distance was convenient.

We can’t say enough great things about our little cottage! My husband and I have been going to Bennington every February for the past 7-8 years and always enjoy our time there! Our first time with Adele, and we loved the home! The space was so warm and inviting, with beautiful and stylish decor and plenty of space for us and our two little boys. We had everything we needed, Adele was easy to get ahold of, kind, and checked in with us during our stay. She provided very helpful, clear instructions on everything and provided a robust list of places to eat, drink, and explore, which we really liked! This will not be our only visit to Adele’s cottage!

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as great! This time it was during the winter when I really needed to rely on the woodstove for heat. That stove gets cranking after a good layer of hot coals are established. I have to say, though, the only thing I would love to see is a damper/flue on the stove. Without those them it causes a lot of smoke to come out into the cabin when adding wood/tending to the fire. I feel it would help control the level of heat and smoke that much better. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait for my 3rd stay.

Perfect for our family vacation. Clean and cozy home that was just as described. Host was very friendly and helpful as well as super responsive. We felt at home away from home!

Nana's place on the lake was just what we were looking for: A quiet, warm, cozy and homey spot with a deck and a view. The Hot Tub added to the enjoyment of the stay and was well cared for and clean. Chris was very accommodating and was quick to remove/manage the snow during our stay. Enjoyed watching the ice fishers work their craft and people walking the ice of the lake. We saw just one snowmobiler running around on the lake and that was just for a short time. Everyone on this lake seems very respectful and in tune with the mellow vibe. I hope we get the chance to return when the weather is warmer to play in the water.

House was as pictured. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with dishes/cups. The coffee creamer was a nice touch. The supersize bath products were a pleasant surprise. The heat worked well on the cool rainy weekend we visited. If it was nicer weather the back patio looked inviting. If arriving at night the address number on post is hard to see, but the front door/porch was well lit and house entry was easy. We would stay again if back in Albany area.

We stayed here for a few months while we looked for a home to buy after a work move. Over these months Delia and the home were great. The house provided everything we needed, was well kept, and everything we needed was provided for us while our things were in storage. Delia was communicative throughout and helped us when we needed to stay longer. A great property with great views and a great host.

Very peaceful! Space was comfortable and it was nice to have a relaxing getaway and take a step back from work. Can’t wait to book again in the summer and take full advantage of what the lake has to offer! Lauren was an excellent host and very communicative.

Comfortable bed , well equipped kitchen , I appreciated the blackout curtains- to keep out light and a bit of cold draft . Owner very responsive and friendly. I had a wonderful stay at this charming older home—it has so much character, which I personally love. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host provided very clear and detailed instructions, making check-in and everything else super easy. The decor was tasteful and inviting, and both the linens and towels were fresh and clean. I was in town for work, and this spot was the perfect home base. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay.
