Michael's place was perfect for our spring break getaway. I really liked the laid back beach vibe and how kid friendly the house was. The kids were able to walk to beach themselves and had a great time on the trampoline! We loved seeing who could find the most shark teeth.

This home is absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to wake up early and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake bay. Even though it was cold the kids enjoyed splashing in the water with their rain boots. We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at colonial Williamsburg. Afterwards we ate at Captain George’s, a place Tas recommended. It was absolutely worth it. I was also pleased with being able to make a good Thanksgiving meal. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. We would love to come back in the near future.

We had 6 people, 3 generations and everyone loved it. The house is completely modernized and high-tech, with a great home theatre system, and sound system in multiple rooms. Having the golf cart was awesome, we used it to get around town a lot. Khyber was SO responsive and eager to make everything just right for us. We loved the location, directly across street from beach. Kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. Beds were very comfortable. We really can't find any downside to staying here if you're coming to Cape Charles.

Our family Thanksgiving was great! What a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the water!! Just waking up each day with that beautiful sunrise over the water was wonderful to see. What a hidden gem! Everything you possibly have needed was provided in the home. The fireplace was very nice especially on those cold evenings! We can't wait to return! William was a wonderful host for our family members in town after we had to get them out abruptly from another stay due to a safety concern. He accommodated an early check in and early check out and was very kind in his communications. He even offered a military discount which we so very much appreciated after being out the money from the first stay. The place was larger than it looks from the outside, right by the water and nicely decorated. Backyard would have been great with pets. Very close to all local restaurants and boardwalk! If we have family in town again we will certainly rebook! Thank you again!

Cute, clean and very comfortable cottage with beautiful bay front large lot. Screened in porch was huge and definitely the place to be along with a lovely beach side covered wooden shelter with brand new rocking Adirondack chairs for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate during our stay ( rainy, cold and windy ) but we could still enjoy the view from inside! Fun towns to explore within 30 minutes and good restaurants with great seafood. ( Best crab cake ever at The Oyster Farm in Cape Charles and best mussels at Mallards in Onancock. ) Would definitely rent this cottage again if back in the area.

Mildred and Spencer are the best hosts ever! From Spencer’s transportation between the boat and the cottage to the yummy smells of freshly baked cinnamon rolls upon arrival to an extra-special treat of a beautiful and tasty 50th anniversary cake for my parents arranged by Mildred through the town baker, this visit to Tangier was incredible! Mildred and Spencer are my new island besties! I love them and the welcoming people of Tangier so much. Hope Haven Cottage is a hidden gem I hope to visit again and again.

We had a lovely stay at Patrick’s place! It had everything we needed for a long weekend on the shore. A very comfortable home. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful, with easy check in and check out. The kitchen was particularly lovely and well appointed! The house number is a little small so keep an eye out. And the mosquitos were fierce - don’t forget bug spray! Thanks, Patrick!

Tracy‘s home was an absolute treasure for our girls weekend away as sisters and our daughters to celebrate our mom‘s 70th birthday weekend! While it was insanely cold, we still got to take advantage of the gorgeous location by bundling up and taking walks on the beach, as well as sitting inside on the cozy couch, with the amazing views of the water! From the hot tub, to the fire pit, to the huge open living area, we were able to enjoy all of it! Beds were so comfy, and there were plenty of throw blankets for warmth and coziness. We hope to come back again when the weather is warm to fully take advantage of all the amenities that Tracy has to offer.
