Apartment vacation rentals in Rappahannock River

This was in a great location. The apartment was really cute and you can walk to literally everything!!! Parking was a little bit of an adventure but we worked it out :)The videos shared were helpful as well to answer any questions and they offered nice suggestions. The beds were really comfortable which was surprising for a couch. The street was a little loud but not bad and was expected since it was downtown. The space was well used and filled with everything we needed for our stay. I can’t say enough great things about the location though as once we parked the car, we didn’t have to move it again until we left. Also, when we couldn’t get the solar remote to work, but the host was super responsive and helpful and we figured it out. This was a great stay and the red door made it helpful to find the place as well as all the information provided prior to our stay. We had a wonderful time.

The apartment is ideal for a couple or family with children. The airline/aviation theme and decor can be observed all around. Lots of time and effort was given to every detail in the house. It is very nice. We arrived late at night. The place was easy to find and get inside. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. They are close shop, stores, restaurants, etc. The place was clean and well organized. It has everything you may need. The apartment is bright and modern. The host was very helpful and accommodating to what we needed. They set up the patio and made it available for us to use it and grill. Unfortunately, We had a busy week and were gone during the day. If you are a couple, or a couple with two kids; this is your place!

Mark was a great host and I enjoyed my short respite at his location. Everything felt clean and new and was designed with thought and care. The outward facing garden was lovely to look at in the morning and while heading to bed. Thank you so much Mark for such a comfortable stay.

This Airbnb was a wonderful choice for my first time visiting Richmond. I was able to park my car in the garage, which by the way was a HUGE HUGE plus, and walk to most of my plans. Anything and everything I had to had to drive was less than 10 minutes away. The location was phenomenal!!! The Airbnb was very very clean, spacious, and I felt safe in the area. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were heaven!!! Lots of good lighting in the space as well, and the views from the windows were beautiful. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Richmond in the future.

We spent a month in this apartment while waiting for our new home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—the apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. It was spacious, comfortable, and an absolute pleasure to stay in. What truly made this experience exceptional was the hosts. They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we needed, and was accurately described. It is a fairly new place, and was extremely clean. There was no sulfer smell in the water, unlike the other Airbnb's we've stayed at in this area. The house and landscaping was beautiful and the decor was so tastefully well done. Bernadette was great, always friendly, and quick to respond. We hope to be able to return for another stay.

Cute, spacious, super close to everything Williamsburg has to offer but still a private and quiet spot. A gem!

This was the most complete and thought out place we have stayed. Very clean, big bathroom, small features like an iron and ironing board. Huge TV, largest bed ever! I most certainly recommend this Airbnb, and host Sara to everyone!

Great place with fantastic views of the Potomac . Close to many dining options within walking distance. We went for a Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. I highly recommend.

APARTMENT: The house is in a beautiful neighborhood that felt incredibly safe, which was a big relief. Plenty of parking. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything anyone could ever need. The host even provided snacks which we were so grateful for after driving 8+ hours and then sitting through a graduation ceremony! HOST: We drove from Ohio with absolutely nothing planned out other than knowing we had to be at a graduation ceremony immediately upon arrival. I came across this listing and messaged the host. Lena was very responsive and was so kind to accommodate a much appreciated early check in. She provided very clear and easy to follow instructions for check in/out. Absolutely 10/10 stay, and with family in the area, this will absolutely be the 1st place we check when planning our future trips! Thank you so much!

Really nice place with lots of access via nearby metro station. Mike was attentive to our needs and friendly, even reimbursed for some of the parking cost after a minor inconvenience! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay around Alexandria/DC area.

My wife and I spent our "mini-moon" at this property after our wedding. Simply put, it is the best AirBnB her or I have ever been in. Somehow it is even better than pictured/described in the listing. Never have we encountered such attention to detail and care in a property than we did at this one. I could write more; instead, I'll just say if you're considering a stay in the Richmond area, do yourself a favor and book this property. You'll be glad you did!

We had a fabulous stay at The Happy Tree House. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the bed was SO comfortable that even my 6 year old son ended up sleeping until 10am! Janine is an incredible host. She is personable, friendly, and an excellent communicator. I want to plan another trip to the same area specifically so we can stay at The Happy Tree House again. TODD’S is KING! We have been searching for our new home & have stayed in 2 of their buildings. TODDs’ customer service has been fast, reliable & friendly! TODD’s has made us feel relaxed & welcomed during our visits. Our cat feels at home here, too! He has been anxious in other Abnbs, so it’s a great benefit. Their units are clean & stocked with essentials — like bathroom, laundry & kitchen supplies. The bed is super comfy as is the living room couch. The TV is large & U can stream your favorite channels. They even supply a safe — for your valuables — and an ironing board & iron for that quick press! A big closet, too! We have very much appreciated TODD’S staff for many reasons. They WANT to help & they WANT their guests happy. They went out of their way to help us elongate our stay, when we realized we needed more time! They kindly juggled other reservations to ensure we could stay longer. Such a pleasant surprise & experience! We recommend TODD’s highly!

We had a great stay at Eddie's place! Very close to restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. The unit we stayed in was spotless and had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay. Highly recommended!

Katie went above and beyond. In town for the Cubs game and she made sure everything went great. Cant say enough about her. We will def consider again if back in DC. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

We loved staying at Hidden Gardens. It was very clean and Noris made it extra special with all her personal touches to make us feel very special. The garden out back is very relaxing and just beautiful. We loved sitting out there and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and greenery. Noris is an excellent host and amazing person. She made us feel special and we felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Noris is a “super-host”.

This was our second stay at Arsham’s place, and we can’t wait for another! This apartment is so comfortable and convenient, and Arsham is great. Highly recommend staying here!

Our family had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Washington DC! The location was ideal—just a short walk to the Metro, making sightseeing effortless. The neighborhood was safe and welcoming, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. Dining options nearby were a great convenience, with a fantastic Thai restaurant across the street and a pizza place next door. This was nice because we often returned from a long day of walking and needed to eat close by. A grocery store a few blocks away was an added bonus. Inside, the space was perfect for our family of six, with two bedrooms, comfortable beds, and two bathrooms that made mornings smoother. Large windows added to the relaxing atmosphere, and the projector in one room made for memorable movie nights. Our teens especially loved the pool table on the main floor. This Airbnb was the perfect base for our DC adventure, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for families or anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! Location was close to downtown Williamsburg while still feeling secluded and peaceful. The space looked exactly like the photos. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear guests around you, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend to others! Great place! Better than the pictures!
