What a fantastic place and location. Tranquil, stunning views, located perfectly to explore the local area. Lots of character; quaint and quirky. As hosts Isabella and Claudio were amazing. Always helpful, friendly and very responsive when we asked them about places to go to. Apartment was located at the very top of the village and provided us with stunning views whenever we ate outside. Fabulous BBQ area and a great choice of outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

I stayed one night here and found it perfect for my needs. The only drawback was that the fridge wasn’t working. Luckily I didn’t need to use it. The street noise can be heard but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The bathroom is beautiful. Much nicer than my own! I was also able to park my motorcycle overnight in the street outside.

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Wir waren für knapp drei Wochen mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter in der Wohnung von Franco und Gracia und hatten eine großartige Zeit dort. Das Haus liegt günstig für Ausflüge im Norden der toscana, gleichzeitig aber ruhig und friedlich an einem Berg in der Natur; man hat einen tollen Blick und einen tollen Garten! Die Wohnung selber ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben; gemütlich, mit ausreichendem Platz und einer wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche. Mit dem eigenen Garten hat man viel privaten Raum. Franco und seine Frau waren herausragende Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Auch die Anweisungen, um die Wohnung zu erreichen, waren klar und verständlich. Einziger kleiner Nachteil an der tollen Lage am Berg ist, dass man schlecht zu Fuß (gerade mit Kinderwagen) von dort wegkommt, sondern immer mit dem Auto fahren muss. Insgesamt sind wir absolut zufrieden und können diesen Geheimtipp voll und ganz empfehlen; wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub

We chose this place because of its proximity to the airport—it’s only a 12-minute walk, which was ideal for our early flight. It’s about 20 minutes on foot to the train station and around 40 minutes to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Despite being near the airport, the bedroom is surprisingly quiet (can hear noise from the floor up, but it didn’t affect us). The apartment is old but functional. However, it felt quite humid during our stay. There were two main downsides: the oven was not working, and locking the door from the outside was inconvenient. There’s no knob, so we had to slam the door each time to get it to lock properly, and the interior knob was loose.

Es war für uns als kleine Familie mit einem kleinkind ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Unsere Tochter liebte das Haus und die Umgebung. Trotz kurzen Aufenthalt fühlten sich die Tage wie zwei Wochen Ferien an. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Gastgeberin war proaktiv und hat uns in allem was wir benötigt hatten unterstützt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei Beatrice und Alessandro. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um Urlaub zumachen! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

Wir waren fünf Tage in der Toskana und haben die Gelegenheit genutzt einige schöne Dörfer der Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, mit einem wundervollen Aussenbereich. Die Lage ist fantastisch und alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Mariaclotilde und Nihat waren sehr hilfsbereit und überließen uns sogar Ihren eigenen Abstellplatz für unseren Oldtimer. Nihat war immer ansprechbar und unterstütze und versorgte uns mit allem. Besonders hat uns sein Frühstück auf der Terrasse gefallen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

A beautiful home to base ourselves in while exploring Tuscany. Lovely country surrounds. House has everything you need, spacious. Gorgeous terraces and pool. Enjoyed Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena but always great to come back to our Tuscan home! Silvia gave fantastic recommendations - pasta making at Ristorante de Beppino and in house chef Beppe highlights. Also loved Monterosola winery tasting. Very highly recommend. One of the best!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit bei Lena. Die Apartments sind sehr hochwertig ausgestattet und der Blick beim Frühstück über die Toskana ist einfach atemberaubend schön. Wer die Chance hat bei Lena und ihren geliebten 4 Beinern zu übernachten - wird sich gleich wie zu Hause fühlen und eine wunderbare , ganz besondere Zeit haben, sodass man am Ende gar nicht mehr abreisen möchte.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die ich über AirBnB bisher gebucht habe. Wir haben uns von Anfang wie zu Hause gefühlt - es ist eine super Balance zwischen Privatsphäre und Interaktion. Der Pool und die ruhige Lage waren ein Traum. Und ein besonderes Highlight war das organisierte Pizza-Event. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen die Unterkunft jederzeit weiter 🩷

Miasteczko Montopoli jest niezwykle piękne i klimatyczne, dużym plusem mieszkania jest to, że zachowuje klimat tego miejsca, doceniliśmy piękne meble i balkon z widokiem na tereny zielone Toskanii. Czuliśmy, że gospodarze dbają o swoich gości, mogliśmy zameldować się w późnych godzinach wieczornych. Pomimo wąskich uliczek nie było problemu z parkingiem bo przy mieszkaniu znajdują się dwa spore parkingi. Idealna baza wypadową do zwiedzania pobliskich miejsc jak Piza czy Florencja. Polecamy serdecznie

Our stay in Pisa was great! Parking was super convenient—you could pull right in, which made things easy. The host was there to greet us and communication was clear from the start. The location is unbeatable—just a two-minute walk from the Leaning Tower, and you can even see it from the balcony. The place had a charming rustic vibe, which is exactly what we were looking for, and to our surprise, it was spread over two floors. It’s actually bigger than it looks in the photos! Everything went smoothly, check-in was great, and we had no complaints at all. If you’re into that rustic feel, I’d definitely recommend it.

The location was at a 15-20 minute walk from the city center, where all the attractions were located. The apartment was clean, with all amenities included. Simone was always responsive and friendly.

Paco was super friendly and very accommodating! I have stayed at MANY Airbnb’s and I think he’s been the kindest and most responsive host I have ever had. I will definitely miss the apartment in Pisa!

Full of colour, design and style, this apartment was perfect for our short stay. With its central location we were able to walk to the Tower.

Tomasso was super helpful and very friendly, always on hand to help with any issues in the apartment. It was so beautiful and perfect for longer stays, i felt right at home and so sad to leave! Would highly recommend to anyone :)

Waren für eine Nacht dort, da am nächsten Morgen unsere Fähre nach Sardinien ablegte. Der Hafen ist nur ca. 3 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alessandro ist ein netter, offener Gastgeber. Persönlicher Empfang und gute Ratschläge. Man hat sich in der Wohnung sehr sicher gefühlt. Nachts war es draußen etwas lauter, aber dafür kann der Gastgeber ja nichts.

Nos gustó mucho el apartamento de Alice. Es pequeño pero para una pareja y un niño u otro acompañante está muy bien. El baño es amplio y está bien equipado. Cuenta con un pequeño balcón con una mesa y sillas para sentarse afuera y tiene un deposito con lavarropa incluido. La ubicación es buena, casi al lado de río y se puede ir caminando al centro histórico y a la Piazza dei Miracoli. En definitiva, recomiendo el piso y también recomiendo quedarse al menos una noche en Pisa para disfrutar la ciudad sin tanto turista.
