Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Pleasure Island

We had such a good time staying here! We enjoyed both pools & both outdoor hot tubs, took walks around the property, went to the beach which isn’t packed & family friendly, found an AWESOME playground nearby & enjoyed lotssss of ice cream! The place was super clean, comfy & inviting!

Was promised beach and awesome location and beach was what we got! Awesome sunrises, great views! We watched dolphins frolic in the surf. The home was away from noise and hustle and bustle. There were beach chairs, kites, some beach toys. It was what we needed!

We enjoyed the condo. It was about a 5 minute drive to beach without traffic. The Perla happy hour had amazing oysters!

Kelly is a fantastic host answering all questions we had and had the best informative guide I’ve ever seen through Airbnb renting, the location was also great! The beach is right at the Airbnb! The pool was nice, it did have a lot of trash in the bottom and unfortunately we did have a very loud neighbor rooming right above us. The room itself was very clean, and just like the pictures, very easy to walk to restaurants and activities! I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Lauren’s place! When we arrived check-in was simple with a code and check-out instructions were clear as well. Everything was very clean and looked just like the photos. The area was great because we were less than 8 minutes from pretty much everything you can think of. Thank you Lauren!

Cute condo just a short walk to the beach. There is a nice relaxing balcony to sip coffee or relax after being in the sun all day. The beach isn’t as busy and with the rocks it helps keep the waves at bay for the little ones. There is access to an outdoor pool and also if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is an indoor pool and workout room. My family enjoyed our visit, and would stay here again.

Overall super pleased with our stay. Unit was as pictured and felt very clean overall. There are some signs of mold on the family room side of the kitchen cabinets, however I think this is very common in coastal properties. The location was unbeatable and it was a very short walk to the beach (50 ft?) with amazing oceanfront views from the balcony. It is a third story unit so does require stairs, may be important to consider for some travelers or affect how you pack your bags. Would come back!

This place was perfect! Great communication with hosts and airbnb as advertised. Would definitely come back and recommend to all wanting a relaxing weekend on the beach.

The location is great, easy access to the beach, nice large pool the kids loved. Alicia was an awesome host and great communicator. The condo was very clean and comfortable.

This is the second time weve stayed here. We love it! Gloria is responsive and easy to communicate with. Her place feels just like home. Steps to the beach or pool we enjoyed both! We will be back next year.

Staying here was great! We had beach access, walkable distance to all the shops, and the place itself was everything we needed for our stay!

Kimberly’s place was exactly what we were looking for! Close to restaurants & shops in Surf City but also very close to the beach. It had everything we needed, very convenient and easy to find. We loved all of the beach equipment available for use and the view from the balcony was amazing! Topsail Island is an amazing destination and Kimberly’s place was the icing on the cake! We loved our stay!

The condo was very clean and well updated. The entire complex was well-kept up and it stood out, including the landscaping, pool, everything. The place itself was real comfortable and felt like a home. I was there a week and it was perfect, plus the beach is right there, a few minutes from my unit and overlooked the pool and yard around it. Plus, I was on the lowest floor so no flights of stairs, just the garage level below me. I would go back in heartbeat.

The condo is clean, in a great area and close to everything you could possibly need. Jennifer's description is accurate and the stay instructions are made very clear. She is very easy to communicate with. We spent 18 nights and would stay there again!

The experience was great. The host was very responsive. The place was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The house was fully stocked and even had a lot of extra things that we could do included plenty books and board games that my family could play. My family ended up going to the beach and it had items that we took with us that was super helpful including pool noodles, chairs and even Floaties. Me and my family will definitely be visiting again. I even had to pull my kids out the house because they didn’t even wanna go home and I didn’t either. We would have been ok to stay one more day lol. But I say that to say this if you’re thinking about staying in this home you don’t have to think twice. It was an amazing experience.

Perfect house for family vacation. Great middle location between the beach and river walk area. House was just as described and had everything need for a home away from home. Cathy was easy to communicate with and very quick to get back. Certainly will put this on our list for next Wilmington NC vacation.

Wow this Airbnb was one of the best I stayed at. The host, Roy, was super kind and let us check in early and even check out late. He made the space so welcoming with freshly planted lavender and other plants. We got to meet the lovely Samantha ray (his German shepherd) that brightened our day. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bedding and towels were soft and comfortable. The backyard was such a beautiful space, it was open and allowed for a great family get together. Also Roy made sure to have plenty of coffee arrive prior to our stay which was greatly appreciated by the 5 coffee fanatics. I would definitely recommend this location to families and others wanting a great location with a quiet neighborhood. We definitely would stay here again.

Great weekend stay. Close to the beach, Southport and Bald Head Island. Host was very responsive and attentive. Our daughter even forgot an item that they found and sent back to us!

Love this place! Breathtaking views, close to everything, and very peaceful. It's steps away from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, and has a beautiful pool that isn't overcrowded. The condo functional. My boyfriend and I found ourselves falling asleep on the Murphy beds listening to the ocean. The hosts were very responsive. Overall - great place to stay

What an absolutely amazing place!! Steps from the beach, glorious sunsets and very quiet. Even on a holiday weekend. Was even more surprised that the photos did match our experience. Kitchen was fully stocked. Quick ride to the grocery store. It was very hard to go home. We will return for sure. Thanks so much, Tyler.

We reserved this spot months ago and showed up just in time for a hurricane. John the host sent regular updates on the storm's status and was responsive to any questions we had along the way. The hurricane passed and we got to get out and experience the beach, restaurants and endless ice cream opportunities - all of which John recommended. Having access to that shed of equipment was also awesome. From the fishing poles to the boogie boards and paddle boards, it was all appreciated. Great house, exceptional host, and nice little beach town to visit.
