Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Pleasure Island

We loved this property. Lary is a wonderful host, and we felt right at home. What a beautiful home! I highly recommend this rental! It's perfect!

Our family had a great experience at Grant and Laura's place! the home was exactly as pictured and the perfect location if you want to walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, mini golf, etc. We also recently had a baby and their home had all the necessities so we didn't have to pack them with us. It was extremely helpful to have a pack and play, high chair, etc already in the home. Grant and Laura were also proactive with check in and check out instructions and always responded to our questions within a few hours. They were excellent hosts and our family would happily stay here again!

Nothing beats waking up and immediately being able to see the Atlantic Ocean, great location! The kitchen has been recently redone, which was nice and spacious. The back balcony was half roofed so it was a nice place to sit away from the sun to take in the view. It was peaceful and quiet, everyone around us was respectful of everyone else’s surroundings. It was a blessing being able to take our dog with us on this trip. She felt comfortable in the house and fell in love with the beach!

We had a wonderful stay! It was a very short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. Jesse was clear and prompt with all communication and instructions—he was a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay and such a great location!! Loved the waterfront, restaraunt (highly recommend Oliveras, short walk from this sweet airbnb, and only a 15 min drive to Wrightsville beach! We had a great time staying in this cozy cottage. Mike was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. This is our second time staying in this duplex. Both sides are equally as great! The small fenced in yard for the dogs and being able to sit on the porch where you can hear and see the ocean is so peaceful. Would stay again!

Matthew's place was awesome! Very close to the beach and near the main hub of Carolina Beach where you can get food and drinks!

The condo is clean and well appointed. It is a moments walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and a small carnival area for kids, yet it is peaceful and quiet.

Had a great time at this condo! Robin was super friendly and proactive when it came to communication. The condo has a gorgeous view from the balcony, and parking was plentiful and easy to access for a majority of the stay. Great selection of local businesses within 10-15 minute’s walk, easy beach access, the works. Would rent again

Location, location, location…walkable and affordable best of both worlds. Recommend renting bikes from shady rentals to get to the beach quickly without the hassle of parking.

Great house in a great location. The back yard and pool were lovely! Nice private fenced yard great for dogs and kids. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the attention to detail throughout the home was great! We would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay in Kure Beach. The place was extremely clean and steps from the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed to prepare meals. Screened porch was nice and neighborhood was really quiet. Would definitely love to stay again.

The place was cozy. Very close to the beach for me. It was a surfer paradise to just be able to grab my surfboard and be able to go straight to the beach within maybe a block there’s a great little breakfast place down the street next to the pier, easy access to some pretty good restaurants and not too far from other attractions.

I loved the place and the location. The owners were so accommodating and Sweet. I will 100% be back to stay here.

Great location! It was right on the beach so you’re not dealing with a ton of traffic, but also in a safe neighborhood. It was clean, cute, and easy. I thought it was worth the price!! I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s a 6 minute drive to the main fun in Carolina Beach and just a little over 20 to where we explored in Wilmington. I’m from the area and rented for my family and I to stay in while they visited, so it’s definitely worth it location/price wise!

We had the best time!! We were able to bring our boat and park it at the boat dock. I will say if you have a bigger boat I don’t know if you will be able to park there all weekend, but not a far drive at all to a boat ramp. The place was very clean and had all the things you will need! There is even dog toys and a bed! Betsy was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come and stay many more times.

Wow! Loved this sweet, chic beach cottage, very short walk to the beach, where we saw some serious surfing. House is super clean and comfy, and the host thought of everything -- king beds, great kitchen setup, and every beach toy you can imagine. Did a lot of reading and relaxed on the big front porch -- it's on a quiet residential street where you can hear the ocean a block away but lots of birdsong, too. Closer to Kure than Carolina, which we liked. Spent an evening watching the sunset at Fort Fisher and another checking out the historic boardwalk at Carolina Beach. New fave beach rental: we will be back!

My dogs and I enjoyed a solo vacation at this cute little cottage! I must say this place is so so quiet! Never even heard anyone staying in the main house. The house was clean as a whistle and so very comfortable. We will definitely be back! It’s walking distance to several restaurants, convenient store, ice cream, coffee stops. I didn’t even move my car for 4 days! 2 blocks from beach and this house supplies all you need for a day at the beach including a shibumi! Seriously nice host and amazing stay. We will definitely be back! Thanks sooo much for a great experience ❤️🐶🐶❤️

Perfect little cabana for a vacation at the beach. Loved the location, it was just a short walk to the beach. Friendly neighborhood and cute little beach town.
