Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pleasure Island

Risako's place was beautiful, spotless, and had every convenience. Not only did we find everything we we had a need for throughout the week, but everything was in great condition as well. The kitchen was well stocked and it was fun to cook and eat there. The bathrooms were spotless, stocked with extra necessities, and had luxurious showers. In the main level living room, sectional was very comfortable and big enough for our family of 7 to fit on it comfortably for movie nights. We spent a lot of time on the deck, too, and the back yard was pretty and big enough for the kids to play in. Kure Beach was new to us and we loved it. Lots of beautiful homes and landscaping, a great neighborhood for walking, running, and biking and close to a paved bike trail that connects to a nice park. The house is a very short, easy walk to the beach while still being out of the way of most of the beach traffic, and we enjoyed walking to the pavilion for beach church and a concert.

It was our second stay here and we feel right at home there. We love the spacious back porch and large fenced yard for our dogs. It is very walkable to the beach but we were able to get parking by the beach access. The house is well stocked with everything you need and even lots of Tupperware! The owners have been renovating and adding to the appeal since the last time we came five months ago. We can’t wait to come back again.

We loved everything about the home and location. The pool table and river brought a lot of laughs and memories made. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. We had an amazing time and thankful for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

The home was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach access. It was well-stocked with plenty of beach supplies, which our group of 8 really appreciated. Having an EV charger available was also a huge plus. The house had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Brian was very responsive and provided helpful information ahead of our trip.

Perfect little cabana for a vacation at the beach. Loved the location, it was just a short walk to the beach. Friendly neighborhood and cute little beach town.

The Emerald Oasis was a home away from home. Christian & Paige are amazing hosts. I highly recommend their home if you’re looking for a pristine vacation home with easy access to the highway, great restaurants and the number one attraction, THE BEACH!!!

Our stay at Kevin’s place was truly exceptional! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we walked in. The location was perfect, and the walk to the beach is short and easy. Kevin was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations and making us feel welcome. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, and kind gestures. Kevin is the best host I have ever had and the house is the best I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend Kevin’s utopia, next time I am in the area I will be returning! Thank you so much Kevin! ⭐️

We loved our stay at Fox in the Sand! The house was beautiful & extremely clean and had everything to make your stay comfortable! We saw immediately that our host, Kris is so detailed & thoughtful when it comes to her guests. No stone unturned from nightlights, laundry baskets in bedrooms, a completely stocked dog cabinet in the kitchen & shampoo, conditioner & soap in bathrooms in case you forgot yours. We found fun decorative hooks everywhere to make life easier. There's a big pantry closet for your food so it doesn't have to sit out on the counter top all week w/ a laundry closet across the way that is amazing. The fenced in backyard w/ lights was perfect for our Maltese, grandson & grilling out! The storage area is equipped with everything you need for the beach & the outside shower is stocked for you & your pup on return. We also loved the covered front porch to sit outside during rain showers! It's a 10 star, so don't hesitate whatsoever to book this lovely home! :)

Such a great place to stay! Had an amazing time, private but also right next to everything. You can walk to the beach/restaurants. Instructions and check-in was a breeze. Definitely would recommend and will come back again!!

Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

Our stay was just the getaway we needed! Lary’s place was extremely clean and comfortable! the outdoor space and landscaping were spectacular, it felt like being at a resort. the neighborhood was quite and relaxing, however not walkable to town as there are not many side walks. definitely rent a bike or a golf cart!

This was the perfect romantic getaway for my wife’s birthday! We enjoyed everything about this beautiful, quaint location.

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Harry was responsive and helpful. The place is walkable to downtown. We had a great stay.

Kelly’s Cottage was the perfect get away. You can walk to plenty of restaurants and the beach. There’s so much to do, from events to the boardwalk and local attractions Carolina beach is very fun. The home was very clean, and Jack and Diane were lovely to meet.

West place was great! We loved the private balcony amenities and how close it was to Kure beach and downtown! So much to do and such a fun stay. It was the perfect cozy beach getaway!

This was our second visit to Jamey and Jeremy's cabins. Highly recommend. The cabins were constructed with planning all through the unit. From outside to inside. Very private. The best compliment I can give them is their "GOOD PEOPLE" Looking forward to our next visit. PS If your lucky enough they might make you biscuits and gravy.

Vince and Judy were extremely welcoming, a wonderful couple with a beautiful property. It felt like we were family from the moment we stepped foot on the property.

Great place to stay! Great for hanging out with friends and family. Very private. The host are great !! Very friendly. I’d say choose this place if you want to be near everything and also have privacy!!

Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and nice place. We used the Get Away house as well that was available during our stay. It was the perfect set up. And the fenced in back yard was very nice. We will return in the future for a future stay.

Great location - walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, but very peaceful. Great place - fenced in yard for the dog, well equipped kitchen, lots of space for people to hang out, comfortable beds. This is our second time staying and we hope to be be back.

Cute cabin surrounded by a beautiful property. Very peaceful. There is a second cabin on the property next to each other; the only thing I would say is the garage door/window does not provide much privacy. If you have neighbors in the other cabin you can see right in. Maybe a tint the window would be helpful. Otherwise, the cabin is adorable and very clean. There is a cute porch to sit on and a fire pit!

One of the things we loved about our stay at Hooker Haven is the natural setting with a fantastic view of Bradley Creek and all the wildlife on the water. The home is shielded from the road and neighbors with trees and shrubs, making it a quiet and private place. The house is immaculate and has the relaxing vibe of a long-time residence. Inside, the kitchen is complete with many dishes and cooking utensils. There is a wonderful sound system with speakers for nearly every room and the deck! The bedroom is cozy and comfortable. The small bathroom is well-stocked, and the outdoor shower is a great addition to be experienced. The house is an easy drive to the amenities of Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington. Owner Erik quickly answers any questions and offers great suggestions. The serene natural environment was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
