We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Charlotte et Jérôme sont très accueillants et disponibles, tout est pensé pour qu'on s'y sente bien, la location est très fonctionnelle ! Arrivée et départ autonomes pratique. Le cadre est très agréable, pas de vis à vis ni de nuisance sonore. La maison est parfaitement propre, la literie confortable. Très bon séjour, je recommande !

Beautiful quiet place with splendid view on top of a hill surrounded by a few kind of people. The hostess was very responsive and kind.

Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement . Ce gite est agréable très propre et bien équipé . L endroit est calme et reposant. J y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Logement cosy en plein Périgord noir dans un environnement paisible . Belle superficie et magnifique terrasse . Lydia et Julien sont très sympathiques et malgré un long pont de jours fériés , ils ont tenu à venir voir si tout était ok pour nous . Accueil avec une bouteille de vin . Le linge et les draps qui sentent merveilleusement bon . Par contre , wifi un peu juste pour du télétravail. Je recommande.

Lovely home, we felt very relaxed there. Roz extremely helpful and responsive as was Marilyne, so friendly. The location is very peaceful, remote enough whilst also being a 5 min drive to a large supermarket. The property is very rustic but had plenty of amenities and the host was very helpful in providing a cot and highchair for us. They couldn’t have done enough to make our stay relaxing. Only slight downside was broken gate to the pool but it was securable when needed. Would love to visit again!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem wunderbaren ruhigen großen Park. Die Rosen duften und die Terrasse bietet viel Platz zum entspannen. Die Vögel hört man abends sowie die Frösche am Teich… es waren tolle drei Tage, ein perfekter Abschluss nach der Stadt.

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

We LOVED our stay at Nathalie's lovely home, nestled among the vineyards. Exactly as advertised, if not better, it was a beautiful home, nicely decorated and both spacious and cozy. The beds were comfortable - important when staying as long as we did - and we had all the modern amenities we needed in this very old "castle". We had no trouble getting Ubers/taxis into Bordeaux proper when we needed to and it was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. Even better than the house itself, Nathalie was a very gracious, extremely helpful host. She helped us arrange a chef to cook for us on our first night there and even selected an array of wines to go along with our meal. She was very responsive leading up to our stay and throughout. If you want a relaxing and luxurious stay near Bordeaux, definitely book this location. I hope to come back!

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

A really great find. This is a lovely, relaxed place to stay. Well equipped and maintained, without being fussy. A wonderful place to get away from it all and spend time with friends and family. Easy access to Bergerac and the surrounding area, which has some very pretty walks. The recommendations of local places to visit were very reliable too. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. Thank you Karen and Charlie for sharing Le Petit Compté magic!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

we had our wedding here and it was the most amazing experience. Nicolas and Caroline helped so much and guided us through everything. Joelle est le genre d’hôte qui s’assure que vous ne manquez de rien et que votre séjour se déroule à merveille, nous nous en souviendrons. We stayed 3 wonderful months in Veronique’s house. We had our two small dogs with us and the yard was securely fenced and safe for them. The house is in a vineyard and Guilherme (Veronique’s son) frequently came to tend his vines. Guilherme is a charming young man and we looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. Guilherme respected our privacy but we always went out to chat with him if we saw him. He also was quick to respond to any questions we had and he is a good source of information about the area. The house is stylishly decorated and has nice new furniture and beds all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have stayed in many rental houses for the past 8 months as we first drove across the US and then moved to France. Veronique’s house was by far the best house that we rented. So many houses had broken down uncomfortable furniture. We will cherish the good memories we have of staying in Veronique’s house! Thank you, Veronique!

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

Le logement du Domaine Du Bout De Monde à été une parenthèse nature apaisante et en total déconnexion Internet (ce qui a été un gros plus). Au plus proche des vignes, à 2 pas d'un château où des activités aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants sont proposés, situé à quelques minutes de Bergerac, nous avons passé un séjour parfait. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et nous ont même offert une bouteille de vin rouge de leur domaine (excellent par ailleurs) et ont été très arrangeants sur l'heure de départ. Merci beaucoup

Maison magnifique, très spacieuse, une terrasse parfaite ! l'environnement était vraiment top avec la guinguette qui fait vivre le coin+ le canoë. Tout cela accessible en bas de la maison..! Mention spéciale pour Corinne, la maman de Léo qui,en plus de gérer beaucoup de choses a été vraiment sympathique et attentionnée avec nous ! Bref, parfait.

Top! que dire d'autre, J.B est très sympathique, le cadre est paisible et magnifique et l'appartement est propre, confortable et la literie au top aussi.
