We stayed at the wonderful Fontanaro villa in the village of Paciano, and it was truly a soul-refreshing experience. Lucia is an incredibly caring host, and Pam, who looked after our stay, was a real treasure. She not only provided excellent recommendations on places to visit but also took care of reservations, ensuring we had nothing to worry about. This was not just an ordinary stay; it was a unique experience. We had the opportunity to participate in an olive oil tasting and a cooking class—both activities left an indelible impression. The villa we stayed in was not only stunningly beautiful but also boasted an impressive wine cellar with an extraordinary collection. Overall, our stay at Fontanaro villa exceeded all expectations. It was more than just accommodation—it was an experience we will never forget.

Peaceful, beautiful, authentic Italian experience which took our breath away. The home was so charming, in a beautiful setting a lovely pool. I open asked Floriana if I could move in! If I could, I certainly would. My fiancé and I enjoyed 3 nights here, and look forward to going back. Floriana is a wonderful host, and went above and beyond with our requests and needs. Ho trascorso una settimana in compagnia di amici nella struttura di Patrizia. L’immobile è immerso nelle colline e nel verde, in posizione abbastanza comoda per visitare la vicina Umbria e i magnifici Borghi aretini/senesi. Il soggiorno è stato magnifico: la pace, la tranquillità e la bellezza del contesto hanno reso questa esperienza unica. Posto ideale per chi cerca relax, lontano dal frenetico incedere della vita di città.

Wir haben uns in dem Haus rundum wohlgefühlt – alles war genau wie beschrieben. Antonio und seine Frau sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten wunderbar entspannen und den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen. Das Haus ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen und wir planen auf jeden Fall wiederzukommen. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken – besonders lohnenswert sind Tagesausflüge nach Tivoli, Assisi, Perugia, Pienza und Orvieto.

Wir haben die schöne Unterkunft und den großen, grünen Außenbereich sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist umwerfend und man kann ungestört seinen Urlaub verbringen, da es keine direkten Nachbarn gibt. Die Casetta ist gut ausgestattet mit allen nötigen Utensilien, die man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Frühstück oder Mittagessen haben wir immer gern auf der angrenzenden Terrasse unter dem schönen Blauregen genossen. Man sollte Essen allerdings nicht offen herumstehen lassen, da es Ameisen gibt. Im nicht weit entfernten Dorf hat man verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurantoptionen, und auch andere Orte sind gut und schnell erreichbar durch die nahe Anbindung zur Autobahn. Ein Höhepunkt des Urlaubs war Luigiana, die uns nicht nur sehr herzlich bei unserer Ankunft empfing, sondern während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts immer erreichbar war. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert, wenn man eine Frage oder ein Problem hatte. Außerdem hat sie sehr leckeres Olivenöl. Danke für alles!

We spend a wounderful week in Pogiolo in this converted farmhouse which has been renovated thoughtfully and with very good taste. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and the great view on Castelignon Fiorentiono. The hosts, who live on the property, were very nice and open. They gave us advice for great restaurants and trips in the area. We highly recommend and would come back any time.

Lieber Lucio, nun sind wir bereits zum zweiten Mal bei dir in Magione gewesen. Dieses Mal zwar nur für 5 Nächte, dennoch genauso bezaubernd und erholsam wie letztes Jahr. Wir schätzen deine freundliche, ruhige Art in jeder Situation. Wenn wir einmal etwas falsch gemacht haben, hat es sich bei dir gar nicht wie ein Fehler angefühlt. I was looking for a spacious, comfortable place with pleasant outdoor features. I found it here. Beautiful, rural, Tuscan surroundings, yet only 20 minutes from Cortona: a great hill town of middling size. Plenty of room for 4 - 6 people with very good sleeping arrangements. Convenient kitchen, washer, and furnishings helped make my almost 3 week stay enjoyable. Definitely benefitted by the instructions, you tube video, and good communication. Would certainly consider another stay if in the area again!

Flaminia went out of her way to acommodate us and even helped us with food given our late arrival and that stores would be closed. Appreciate that very much, she was also very flexible and understanding, the natural environment surrounding the house is beautiful and very peaceful.

We have visited Alessandro’s place as a group of 6 adults and 3 kids!! Place was very spacious and had a great outdoors seating space as well as ‘games’ room with ping pong table. Pool was great size good for swimming and entertainment. Villa surrounded by great views and it’s up in the heals so therefore much cooler which was amazing during the extreme heat in Italy. Alessandro thank you sooo much for fantastic time!! We will be back ❤️

We truly enjoyed our stay and loved the quiet charm of Gina’s home. Having Dadalo & his lovely mother Nonna cook us dinner was delightful & delicious! We also enjoyed their sweet family dog, Beethoven. Thank you again!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casina è molto carina e ben tenuta, con tutto il necessario sia per un soggiorno breve che per soggiorni più lunghi. La posizione è estremamente tranquilla, lontana da rumori e traffico. È comunque semplice raggiungere in auto tutti i servizi di cui si può necessitare. Molto consigliato per chi amo gli animali e per chi ne possiede, i nostri cani sarebbero rimasti molto volentieri lì.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! The place is exactly as described — actually even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The surrounding nature is stunning, the bed was very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. We even managed to enjoy a nice barbecue! I truly couldn’t recommend this place more — it’s absolutely magical. Check-in was super smooth, and the host was perfect: not intrusive or anxious at all (which has happened to me before elsewhere). Everything went perfectly. Thank you so much!

We stayed a week at the cottage and had a wonderful time. The surroundings were so beautiful. There are quite a few beautiful towns nearby, perfect for day trips, but you’ll need a car, even to go to Castiglion Fiorentino, the nearest village. Fausto and Flavia were very welcoming and checked in us several times. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay.

We recently spent two weeks in this delightful house. The location is perfect for exploring the area around the lake and further afield due to good road links. It has all the feel of an isolated house while being close to shops and restaurants. The house was very clean when we arrived and although basic has all the things you really need. Andrea the host was absolutely delightful and welcoming. He was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, sehr abgelegen (1km privater schotterweg zum Haus) und ruhig und komplett von der Natur umgeben. Der Pool ist riesig und sehr gut mit Dusche und Klo direkt am Pool ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer hat noch ein eigenes großes Badezimmer und es gibt sogar 2 Küchen. Die Terrasse und generell der ganze Außenbereich ist sehr schön und mit genug Bäumen hat man auch schönen natürlichen Schatten. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden, die Kommunikation mit Milagros war auch sehr einfach und schnell. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Soggiornare in questo cottage è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa! Panorama splendido e Federica è una persona gentilissima, davvero squisita! Il cottage è semplicissimo da raggiungere, le stanze sono pulite e c’è tutto l’occorrente per trascorrere qualche giorno in relax…bellissima anche la piscina, la zona solarium e gli animali. Posto perfetto per chi ha bambini o vuole rilassarsi immerso nella natura!

Fiona is a great host. She was really friendly and always eager to help. The house is super cosy and well equipped. The kitchen is great, there was everything we needed to cook delicious Italian dishes. We loved the fire burner. I can highly recommend this quiet place to anyone willing to rest from the bustling city life. The internet connection could be better but this is a very remote location so there’s probably nothing the host can do to improve it. The pool closes in October. It was too cold there to use it but it could have been mentioned in the offer. The quite high (300 eur) deposit for electricity was required and this should have been mentioned as well. It hasn’t been returned to us yet so I can’t say how high the bill for electricity could be. Anyway, this is a really nice place and we had a great time there.

Die Wohnung von Livio und Vittoria ist sehr geschmackvoll und elegant eingerichtet, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die kleine Küche ist gemütlich und ermöglicht die Zubereitung von vollständigen Speisen. Die Umgebung ist wundervoll und lädt zu schönen Ausflügen ein. Der Pool ist angenehm und bietet herrliche Entspannung. Wir haben es als Familie mit Hund sehr genossen.
