Eleven minutes on a bumpy pothole and stone littered road takes you to a beautiful place with beautiful views. La Taillede is beautifully located on the foothills of the sacred mountain Canigó. We stayed with our family in two pleasantly furnished gites (Noisettes and Cérises) where it was wonderfully cool despite the heat outside. Ali and Matt are two fantastic hosts. The second day the children made a ride on the donkeys up the mountain and the refreshments were ready at the top of the viewpoint. The communal meal on Tuesday was also a hit: good food and nice conversations with the other guests. The cooling swimming pool, the massage on request, tranquility and many animals on the property made the week complete. All in all, a lovely stay.

A beautiful guest house in an amazing setting. We had a great couple of days. Charles was there to welcome us and explain how everything works. Unfortunately we did not manage to enjoy the outdoors space which is truly amazing due to rain. We will definitely be going back!

This place feels like home, but with an awesome view and amazing walks. The open plan feel makes it so easy to live in and the plants, paintings and quirky statues make it a joy to be there. The walks are the kind of walk you wish you could do every day of your life and it's also a great place for accessing the very pretty little coastal towns with their cafes and restaurants.

We had a great time at the Cabanon with our French bulldogs. We thank Alexandra for all the care available in the accommodation, including for our pets. We felt at the Cabanon like we were at home. The neighborhood is peaceful and very well located. I highly recommend if we come back to the area we will go to Alexandra's Cabanon again where calm and serenity reign. Amazing location with endless views of water and nature. Denys was incredibly helpful and timely in his communications and he carried a translator which was super helpful with our basic French. The outdoor space had a variety of setups for wind and sun. We could walk or the door for exercise and enjoying spring nature. The vegetable basket from his local garden was so appreciated! Very nice house in the old town of Gruissan, in a very quiet environment and a few streets from village life with its market and nice shops. The house is well equipped, functional, and clean. Very comfy beds. Aurel was particularly available to respond to us and flexible for check-in and check-out. Multiple activities to do nearby. We highly recommend this lovely place for a relaxing vacation. We greatly appreciated the welcome gift. Thank you Aurel for your hospitality and advice.

Meagan's place is perfect for a couple. It is very functional and tastefully furnished. The area is beautiful, between sea and mountain, hikes, heritage, history and gastronomy to discover. Meagan is the best! A very responsive host and incredibly kind. If it exists, Airbnb should give her a category above "superhost" and "traveler favorite". We would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Albert’s. The place was as described. The bed was really comfortable. Best of all you could walk down the hill to the Sea and the Ronda walking path, which goes from Llanca to El Port de la Selva. A beautiful spot.

We really enjoyed staying at Petra’s place. You get the feeling that you’re living among history and medieval times. The apartment was spacious and perfect for us. We loved the big sharing kitchen, where we made all of our meals. The pool area is well suited for the hot days. The host Petra are very welcoming and knows all about the region. Highly recommended, we would definitely come back.
