We stayed for a weekend to celebrate Christmas with the family. The house was decorated on our arrival for this occasion which was a nice surprise. Karine was very responsive to our questions and gave us all the necessary information for our stay, thanks to the very well-made welcome booklet. The setting is very relaxing and quiet, the amenities of the house are perfect! The bedding is lovely too. I thank Karine for this warm welcome and I recommend it 100% if you want a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

One word: Beautiful!!! The owners are excellent!!! A warm and caring welcome, they are attentive to everyone's needs and very attentive. Regarding the house it is just amazing, tastefully decorated, very spacious and cozy, hyper functional!!! Everyone can have their privacy in complete tranquility, huge garden and spacious pool, no overlook, children have had fun!!! Thanks again!!!! We'll be back soon for sure!!!!

Our stay was very nice, the accommodation is very comfortable, spacious and very well-equipped. The private garden and terrace are also very popular as well as the pool. The environment is wonderful: in the countryside and 2 steps from the Dronne. Thank you to Richard and his wife for hosting us.

Had a lovely weeks stay here in July just me and my partner. Was a 5 minute drive to local town/shops which was handy. Sadly to far to walk as its alot of up and down hills to the villa. The villa is fully equipped with everything needed for self catering and then have local restaurants to eat out. Its very private and beautiful place not overlooked in any way. Pool was very cold! Bed could done with more pillows and not the most comfortable but overall had a great holiday and would recommend staying here.

Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!

Great holiday home in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with lovely views across the Dordogne valley. It’s a good ten minute drive from pretty Sarlat, but we liked the fact that we were staying in such a quiet and picturesque spot, up in the hills and amongst all of the trees. Loads to do in the surrounding area and the swimming pool was welcomed to cool off in and relax by after a day of activities. Only negatives were the mosquitoes, which seemed to love us, and we were here during a hot week so air conditioning would have made for a less hot night’s sleep! But overall the house was perfect for our week’s family stay.

Thank you Thierry and Maurice for a wonderful stay in Manzac. We absolutely loved the house and felt so comfortable there. The little details like sharp kitchen knives, comfortable sun loungers and the enormous trampoline meant our party of 14 all had a brilliant time. The location of the house is outstanding, the views are breathtaking as are the stars at night. Highly recommend.

Was lovely and tranquil, the surroundings kept nice & tidy, Eric was very knowledgable and recommendations were 1st class. House was much bigger than we'd expected and had everything that we needed, probably the best house that I have stayed at since travelling to France over an 11 yr period. The donkeys were lovely and a bonus for our children. I for one would love to return and will miss my times relaxing by the pool in the sunshine, whilst admiring the fantastic view of the surrounding countryside, followed by a nice glass of local red wine sitting in one of many spacious areas of the fantastic house.

The stay went very well. The estate is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and barbecue!

We had an extended weekend for a family party. Although we are 12 people ,the main house,the cottage and the barn have allowed everyone to find some privacy and the main house is large enough and welcoming to gather there. This place looks like a family home with a cocoon decoration,there are enough amenities, dishes, dishes, games, books... etc...the proximity to Sarlat is also a real plus. For the brave one can walk there. The heated pool made everyone happy and the weather did not alter the quality of the premises. In short, a charming,fabulous place where we felt at home! One last word for our hosts...a big thank you for your responsiveness,your kindness and the messages exchanged...The welcome was great!! Go with your eyes closed:)

We spent 3 wonderful days with friends in this beautiful estate! Frédérique is an available, attentive and very kind host. The mansion is perfect for recharging, enjoying the park and pool in complete tranquility. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful property. The location is very peaceful, the views stunning and with the many tips and recommendations Nina left us we were spoilt for choice of what to do. We had a wonderful week in this lovely clean, stylish and spacious house. The garden is not overlooked so it felt lovely and private for reading and sunbathing by the pool. The hosts were very responsive and we really appreciated the guide book tips on places to eat / visit in the nearby lovely town of Montignac. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay at Sonia's. They have shown great adaptation to our adventures and our inability to arrive and leave at the originally scheduled times. Everything was as advertised. The house and its environment are very peaceful and quiet. There are quite a few activities and sites to visit nearby.

Fabrice and Valerie were very welcoming hosts. our French is limited and so was their English but we managed to communicate well with the help of goggle. They kindly gave us a couple cold beers when we arrived as it was very hot, it was much appreciated. The house was very clean and comfy furnishings, and a well equipped kitchen. They cleaned the pool every morning which was appreciated, it's the cleanest pool we've ever had in France. The surrounding views where beautiful and very peaceful. I would recommend and would like to return sometime in the future.

Seven adults and two small children enjoyed Gwen’s property. We all had a super time, everything was as described, clean, and worked. It felt like considerable effort had gone into anticipating the clients needs & these were more than met, which doesn’t happen often. We would highly recommend Gwen’s property, we had no issues, loved the pool & the view was spectacular. We had a great, relaxing family holiday.

very spacious, clean and quiet house . there were 15 of us, each had their own space and we were able to enjoy together in the large living room. Very well furnished
