Bring the whole family (or two) to our lake in mid coast Maine! This year round home is in a peaceful setting yet close to coastal towns of Belfast and Camden. Enjoy a paddle around the lake with our kayaks, canoe or simply hang out on the dock. The clean lake is an angler’s dream. We are set up for the youngest (crib, toys, swings)to the oldest ( one step into first floor, bedroom directly across from bathroom). Fall and winter stays bring even more quiet and respite from the outside world.

Lura Brianna’s Acadia treehouse is adorable, well equipped and she was very helpful during our short stay in bar harbor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals. We loved sitting by the propane stove and reading! There are some nice walks along the road and nearby. I would stay here again if returning to Bar Harbor.

Diwas was alert and responsive. The free breakfast at everyday joes was very good and fresh. We liked Pats Pizza downstairs and the nice bar. All workers at both places very nice and friendly. Loved how close we were to downtown, without being right in the middle of all the chaos. We loved our stay and had a great time. The Airbnb was perfect for us celebrating our anniversary.

Charming and Rustic Cottage, water and park view

Great for families with kids due to proximity to playground and beach, availability of kid books, life jackets, beach towels and bunk beds. More cabin-y and rustic than we anticipated, which might leave parents relaxed about kid-impact on home, but may not be great for fussier guests. As with most Bayside cottages, stairs are narrow and steep, walls are thin and bedrooms are small. This will be charming for some, problematic for others. The location and view are both spectacular. We spent many happy hours on the front porch, on the dock and taking long walks down Shore Road. The neighbors were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Ali responded promptly to all questions. Most mattresses were firm and comfortable, but one queen bed had an extremely soft mattress which caused us to change rooms. Bayside is a unique and wonderful community and draws repeat guests year after year, generation after generation! You will love it.

Great Pond Family Camp was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! Our cabin, Loon Landing, was perfectly clean, had a gorgeous view of the pond, and had everything you may need for a restful weekend! Joe, his wife and their sweet dog, Poppy, were very welcoming and friendly! Be prepared for no electricity, no service and no indoor bathroom.

Even more beautiful than we expected! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Cozy, clean, quaint, dreamy. I will Be back. The views outside are incredible. Susan has created not just an Airbnb, but an experience. We couldn’t wait to get home each night and spend the evening all cozy inside. We even made homemade pizza! So charming. Could not be happier.
