Wonderful stay in an incredible location. Cute, clean, and cozy cottage with everything you could need to feel at home while tucked away in a magical spot.

This was a return visit to Butch’s beautiful property and the Owenta Cottage. Once again, both the cottage and the surrounding landscape afforded us a peaceful relaxing week unplugged from the chaos of city life. It is not far if you want to make the drive to Acadia, a day trip is easy. In addition to our time on the property, we had a wonderful dinner at the Arborvine restaurant in Blue Hill, tremendous pizza from Blaze, and explored the Blue Hill bookstore. Thank you Butch for your hospitality once again and for sharing this wonderful space with us!

Melanie was extremely friendly and helpful. The house and views were wonderful. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and fun weekend.

Water's Edge was the perfect cozy reset from the hustle & bustle of NYC. Calmingly quiet with the most awe inspiring views. Peaceful, clean and convenient! We felt right at home and look forward to returning in the future.

Great place to stay if you’re looking to visit Bar Harbor. Bar harbor and Ellsworth just a few minutes away . We appreciated all the great suggestions for food and hikes . Great communication , house was very clean and cozy. It snowed while we were there and host came to clear a path by 8am without asking ! That was above and beyond for us ! Overall stay was perfect , kitchen had everything needed . Views were spectacular. We would definitely rebook.

The Nub on Somes Sound was one of the best stays we’ve had via Airbnb. The double height ceilings from the living room and large deck both overlooking the water bring the peace and beauty of Maine to your door in a cozy, private wood cabin. Looking forward to coming back next year!

As mentioned before this home was enchanting. My only regret was I didn't reserve for longer. Every room had a view of the sea. We took advantage of that and spent a few evenings sitting at the picnic table dining and BBQing. The most relaxing time we have all had in a very long time. Many thanks Caitlin. We look forward to the next.

The house is lovely and the host extremely friendly and helpful. The house has everything you might need to feel comfortable: blankets, tea, books, board games…We enjoyed the stunning views and sunsets from the deck or the living room. Certainly would come back!

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The house and views are excellent, you can sit on the back deck or outside area and just gaze out at the view, see Bald Eagles fly over every day, even saw one grab a fish from the water. Very clean and well appointed with the essentials like detergents for laundry and dishwasher, garbage bags, slat, pepper and other cooking basics, foil and cling wrap, beach chairs. Overall I can say it is a very nice house, very clean. The location is 20 - 25 minutes from Bar Harbor and maybe 20 min to Acadia. We didn't mind this at all. We ate lobster at 5 different places, if you want the absolute best Lobster rolls go to the Travilin Lobster, there is one in Trenton and one in Bar Harbor, by far the best lobster roll. Oh, and probably as important as the house being very clean, the beds were very comfortable.

This was our second stay with Devon and as usual it did not disappoint! It is exactly what we needed for a quiet getaway. It is very serene with sounds of the Loons echoing across the lake. Did not see a car or person in 4 days which was great. Devon was always in touch if needed and accommodating. Great kitchen with everything needed for a snack or a full meal. A very relaxing stay!

Since this was my frist time staying at a airbnb house I Sent Tim a text an hour before we got here he promptly called me with positive feeling,he told me his plans for the next few days and who I would need to contact should we need something. the house was exactly as he explained the whole group of us were very pleased with everything avaliable,we spent lots of time out by the lake awesome sunrise sitting on the dock with cup of coffee, it was perfect. I will definitely recommend Tim's house to other people. we really didn't want to leave. I hope we can return someday. awesome job Tim keep up the honesty and good work.

Marks place made our trip to visit family very comfortable and convenient to visit in the middle of winter. Very cozy and inviting and Mark was very attentive to ensuring our check-in and stay was great. If your looking for a great stay in Skowhegan with plenty of space and accommodation look no further.

The house felt like a home. Warm, with nice spaces to gather, cook, and relax. Classy furnishings. Kitchen was very well-equipped.
