The Dordogne river, St Emilion and Bergerac are nearby. The local area is excellent for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, visits to vineyards and delicious food. Le gîte se situe en plein cœur du vignoble, à 4 km de la bastide de Sainte-Foy-la-Grande construite au 13ème siècle sur les rives de la Dordogne, permettant baignades et activités nautiques; et à seulement 15 minutes de Duras et son château médiéval classé monument historique.

Very quiet self contained Gite near Eymet and Duras. Set in 10 acres of land. Open plan with main bedroom + double sofa bed (within living area). 12 mins from Eymet and 10 mins from Duras. Ideal for house hunting couples. This accommodation is not suitable for more than 2 adults, but two small children could be accommodated on the sofa bed. The gite is attached to a house, and adjacent to our house. Shared use of the pool. Please note, pool now closed until May 2025 Sorry no dogs.

The 3 bed, 3 bath house enjoys large exposed beams, double height ceilings, Smeg appliances, and thick walls to keep the space beautifully cool during the hot summer months.

Finally, if you aspire to a stay of pure relaxation, where it is good to live doing nothing, the cottage will be your haven of peace, quiet, by the pool.

Only 6 minutes from Libourne, 25 minutes from Saint-Emilion, 35 minutes from Bordeaux, and 1 hour from ocean beaches, it is ideally located for you to discover our wonderful wine region.
