Cottage vacation rentals in Oxnard

Nancy’s place was perfect for us for our week+ stay while visiting family in the area. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything that we needed. Nancy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the neighborhood as we are big walkers and the neighborhood streets and the preserve trail right at the end of the road were great for exercise. It was a bit of a cool week while we were in SoCal so the heater/fireplace was a welcome plus for keeping us comfortable. As a tea drinker, I was happy to have an electric tea kettle available while my husband enjoyed the keurig machine and the supply of k-cups Nancy provided. We would certainly stay again.

What a great spot! There is a lot to do within walking distance but there are a lot of stairs to get to the main thoroughfare. The cottage was super cozy for a tiny house. The kitchen had amenities for the first morning which was helpful after a day of travel. We wished we had more time to spend there but there was so much to do in Ventura.

The Cottage was the perfect place for me to stay while the interior of my house was being painted. I was easily able to work from there & there were many nice touches like bread & creamer in the fridge. Just wish I had more time to explore the beautiful grounds.

We loved staying at Fawns place. So close to the beach and great restaurants, we also loved the farmers market on Sunday. Will definitely be staying at Fawns place again!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You cannot find a better deal on the water near Santa Barbara for the space and price. Very safe, totally walkable (grocery store, coffee, beach, some restaurants, liquor store). Host is invested in ensuring your stay is enjoyable. You can walk out the door and have your toes in the ocean in about 4 minutes. If you want two bathrooms, comfy beds, and access to an amazing array of beach zip codes for a very fair price, this is the place.

The place was excellent, very peaceful and beautiful. Had an excellent stay with no issue. The only reason I would give it 4 is because the water pressure is really really really low and so taking a shower was not convenient . The common bathroom was better than the master bathroom, but still really low water pressure. I would not say it’s a deal breaker but something to be aware. Stephen and Devin are very quick to respond and do make sure you are comfortable so I would definitely recommend to stay here .

Great little cottage in a super quiet neighborhood with most everything you need within walking distance or a five minute drive. Private, comfortable backyard perfect to hang out in.

Love this place and the hosts. Stayed here for the M2B marathon. Amazing location by the beach very clean and great if you like to cook or take a walk on the beach. Close enough you don’t need shoes to walk to the beach.

My family and I had a great stay! Upon arriving, I was highly impressed with how clean everything was! We loved being able to walk right across the street and enjoy the beautiful beach views. The location was great and Erica was responsive to any questions we had. She also gave us a great breakfast recommendation. Being able to do laundry was a bonus for me, and the outside sitting area was very relaxing. When visiting the area in the future, we will definitely stay again!
