Host was friendly and easy to do business with. The location is quiet and has a beautiful patio area.

I’ll begin by saying that the photos of the condo and the surrounding areas don’t do it justice. It’s a very, very safe, pretty & quiet area. I’m very familiar with Ventura & Oxnard, but chose Port Hueneme (and this location) due to the great price, and hoping for cleaner, less-crowded beaches. We got all of it. No tourists, no trash, no homeless emcampments. Back to the condo: 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and walking distance to the beach; and the cheapest price in the entire Ventura County, that close to the ocean, and also that nice/clean/new. The condo literally had everything we could need, and no additional shopping was required. The condo was clean and well-maintained. I can’t come up with a single critique, complaint, etc. We had a great time, and will book again. The hosts also answered all the messages very quickly.

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn and Maurice’s apartment! We had an early flight and were already in town waiting on our 3 o’clock check in when she let us know it was all ready for us, which was a relief because we needed to rest. Just after getting in we were surprised with fresh baked cookies that were delicious! That place was nice and clean and had everything you could need. I walked to the beach morning and night and it was quick and easy. I was very glad to see a first aid kit and beach towels since we had forgotten towels and bandaids. Ventura was home so we were in town visiting family and the place even had Tupperware so I was prepared to snatch my great aunt’s leftovers to enjoy at the apartment later. We were lucky enough to meet both Carolyn and Maurice in the driveway and chat for a bit. The couple times I needed anything Carolyn was quick to respond anywhere from 30 secs to 20 mins on messaging and they were just a minute away upstairs. Great place & hosts! 5 star

We felt right at home when we walked into Joey’s place. It was spotless and decorated beautifully. Extremely comfortable bed, pillows, and sheets! We had a great night’s sleep. 💤 We were only there for one night, but would definitely book again.

What a tremendously beautiful beach cottage. Exactly as pictured but so much more! Literally less than half a block(I think it was just 3 houses) to the sand. Great restaurants right there within a block. We were able to leave the window open at night and you could hear the waves! We had Surf -n- Yogurt every night for dessert and since we knew we always had a parking space, enjoyed exploring Ventura. Friendly community and responsive service from host for our couple of questions.( Nothing big, just had to actually read all the email haha). Highly recommend and we hope to stay here again

I had a pleasant stay (3 nights) at Nikita's place. Everything was as pictured and described, with detailed, clear, self check-in instructions. Nikita was quick to reply to any questions that arose. The apartment was cool, comfortable, and quiet and walking distance to several shops and eateries. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or other communal amenities, but the setting looked nice. I would happily stay here again next time I'm in the area. Thank you!

All I have to say is WOW! We were obsessed with this place. Think the photos make it look awesome? (They do, and they are accurate, but it's even wayyy better in person)! This place really did feel like a magical jungle treehouse. Enter in through the carport and you see bejeweled stone steps leading every which way, since there are a few different places here -- though your stay is its own private place. The property has several well decorated and vibey places to chill by the natural spring. The place itself is impressively decorated too. Beautiful wind chimes serenade you during the day and frogs at night (while we stayed anyway, might be a spring thing). Darrell is very kind and always responsive and provides clear instructions for check-in. Quiet, serene place to stay and you'll feel immersed in nature. Can't recommend enough and will certainly be returning! Thanks, Darrell!

Beautiful location, looked just like the pictures, and everything about checking in/checking out was easy. Loved falling asleep to the waves.

This is a lovely getaway nestled in a gorgeous mountain landscape seated within a friendly community. Rachel is an excellent host with extensive knowledge of the locale and great recommendations. My partner and I would love to return should we find ourselves in the area again.

This is second time we have stayed at Ellen’s place. She has always been responsive. Some nice upgrades in bathrooms and location can’t be beat near lots of shops, restaurants, grocery etc. Also near major highways so easy to get to where you need to go.

Simple, clean, well kept, easy in and out, no issues.

This place was absolutely a gem. Dinara was a great host, the location was close to many things, secured parking, and the gym and the pool were the cherry on top. I highly recommend staying with Dinara.

Julie’s spot was the perfect place for a tranquil weekend getaway. The unit was comfortable and the back yard/garden area was so serene. Julie was attentive and responsive with any questions I had and I appreciate her willingness to work with me on specific accommodations. Her hospitality and property are lovely and I highly recommend.

Mario and Steph have a great place. They were very communicative and friendly. The condo was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The complex was great too—easy to find parking (thanks to the instructions from the host), a lovely pool, and very secure. Just across the street from the Valencia Mall, there are TONS of food and shopping options in under a 5-minute walk. Next time I’m staying in the area, I hope this place will be available again!

Had a great time! Geoff and Annika were great hosts. The sauna was so nice after a long hike. The place was clean, peaceful private, and easy to get to. Easy check in and out.

Wow, what an incredible two days! This unit truly exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and so much more. The beauty of the canyon left me in awe, and there was something magical about savoring breakfast while soaking in that breathtaking morning view. I felt completely at peace, especially since I didn’t come across anyone else during my stay—such a perfect sense of privacy! Excellent property with excellent owners - we stayed for a couple of days during our son’s Pepperdine graduation and the property met our needs. Very spacious kitchen and living room. Amazing ocean views. Very clean. Strong communication. Highly recommended

Have stayed multiple times here with Kiran. It is always so clean and she is very responsive if we have any questions or need anything. We enjoy an easy walk to and on the beach at the end of a busy week and we have our favorite local restaurants we enjoy going back to. Big fave was finding Anacappucino Coffeeshop so close! Appreciate all Kiran does to make sure her place stays at such a nice/high standard!

Absolutely the best stay ever, Julie was outstanding in her communication and her place was ideal in every regard. I can not even say to all that is so easily accessible from her location. Every need I had was obtained in less than 7mins from her residence. I felt completely at home and more than satisfied with my stay.
