Deer Haven is a tiny house (192 sq feet) located in my backyard, overlooking acres of woodland. The space is small and simple. Get to the queen bed in the sleeping loft by climbing the ladder. Bathroom has a toilet and stock tank shower. The kitchen has basic amenities - fridge, microwave, hot plate, griddle, dishes, etc. Best spot in the house is on the couch, where you can see the fireplace and the gorgeous woods out the patio door.

The Stargazer was a private cozy cabin on private land with all the comforts needed and outdoor space to feel the woods. The cabins decor and thoughtful loft are artistic and inviting with a little bit of something to interest all. We enjoyed the variety of warblers, and birds enjoying the trees newrby and the hummingbirds buzzing by the front porch. We didn't see the bear on property but it left evidence of it's visit with paw prints on the front porch. There are some short trails on the property that we enjoyed after exploring nearby areas. The cabin is perfectly located with short drive to visit Bayfield and the apostle islands, Copper Falls state park and the opposite direction up coastal 13 towards Deluth/Superior to see waterfalls at Patterson and Amnicon state parks. When the fire hazard was low we enjoyed little fire in fire pit for smores, and when it was high an artificial log inside on old wood stove. The soaking tub was amazing after hiking all day.

The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was extremely friendly and responsive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. We would definitely stay here again!

A cozy entertainment space features a wooden bar with six barstools. An organized game area includes a television mounted on the wall, a dartboard, and a vintage-style refrigerator. Bright neon signs add a lively touch to the neutral-colored walls and concrete flooring.

This was my second stay at Hart Haven, it was so nice the first time that I knew I wanted to see if it was available for this trip. Emily and Derek are wonderful hosts! The home is always so inviting and homey. Very clean (and I'm a picky person) and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay away from home. So peaceful and relaxing. Lazy Grey - Enjoy mowed walking trails.

We booked Michelle and Jason's home in January of 2025 to attend a UWS graduation in May 2025. As soon as we arrived, the house and property were exactly as described. The home is so beautiful and well-kept, including the property and trails. All of the amenities you could imagine were loaded and on hand. The house is spacious, which we hoped for with five guests. The kitchen and bathrooms were wonderfully stocked. We could not talk enough about the kitchen and amenities. Fully stocked with coffee, tea, pots, pans, toaster, etc. Michelle and Jason add a wonderful touch with a cabinet and many spaces dedicated to the pups, including treats, bowls, and towels. OUR DOGS LOVED IT! The washer and dryer amenities were excellent. The rooms were nicely sized and fit everyone comfortably. As one of my family members stated, the picturesque window in the living room is "A million-dollar view". Each day, you could look out and see beautiful wildlife. Lake Superior is right up the road!
