The treehouse was fantastic. We were looking to see some fall colors and get away to a quiet place for some recharging rest. We got just that, with Bayfield right down the street and orchards galore. Beautiful space!

I stayed with my 9yr old for two nights. It was an amazing experience! The stay is as described - in between a hotel and camping but the location is unmatched. There is electricity but no fridge/microwave; pack your coolers for a great onboard dining experience or venture into town. The boat was actually more spacious than I expected. There is a small smart TV and internet, our firetv stick provided evening entertainment. We brought both sleeping bags and a bedsheet and slept very comfortably. It was our first time in the Bayfield area. We hope to bring my husband back to the boat (and Bayfield) for even more adventures!
A bathroom features a bathtub with a shower curtain, surrounded by wood paneling and stone tiles. A small wooden bench is positioned near the tub, and a window above allows natural light to enter the space.

The location was perfect for our plans. They left us a small bag of fresh ground coffee, next to the coffee pot, & it was absolutely amazing! We only needed a clean bed and private entrance, & that's exactly what we got! We thought the bed was extremely comfortable, & the sheets were clean and smelled fabulous! It is located in a basement, so I did notice a couple cobwebs in the corners, but overall it's very clean! Also, the shower is not made for tall people, my fiance is 6'4" and had to squat to take a shower. Small complaints, compared to how wonderful everything else was. Shower essentials were provided, including towels. It was quit, comfortable, & private. I would definitely recommend. 10/10.

The space was nicely updated and clean, though we were a bit disappointed with the view and the proximity to the road. However, that may have been my oversight when booking.

Donald and Nancy have a lovely home and we’re wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home. They were very responsive, made sure I had what I needed and even offered recommendations of things to do/places to visit. Would definitely recommend this stay and would love to return on my next time up north.

Our stay at Timber & Tide was wonderful! The view of Lake Superior was spectacular! The outdoor space was perfect with a firepit, wood, chairs, hammocks and grill. The inside had a stocked kitchen and very nice decor. It was a very peaceful stay and we were appreciative that we could bring our dog.
A loft bedroom is featured with warm wood paneling on the walls and ceiling. A spacious bed is adorned with floral-patterned pillows and a quilt. Natural light streams through a small window, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

We loved the tiny house. Enjoyed a fire outside with the dog. Don't forget to ask about the beaver pond! Carlo Jo and Sam were both so friendly. Lots to do within 10-15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again if in the area!

"Our Cabin" on Lake Superior

We absolutely loved the cabin, and were just feet off of Lake Superior and the view was spectacular. We enjoyed spending time by the campfire and watching the boats in the bay and wildlife. The cabin was spotless and Nancy went above and beyond with the special extra amenities she provided. She also made homemade cookies and delicious crackers. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay!
