Loved everything about our stay at this amazing house! Comfortable beds, awesome backyard with pool and hot tub, great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, park and very close to lots of site seeing. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time - thank you for sharing your lovely house with us!

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

A Perfect Getaway in El Cajon! From the moment we arrived, this stunning Airbnb exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the scenic hills of El Cajon, the property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a true retreat. The outdoor space is a dream—lush landscaping, a relaxing seating area, and the kind of quiet that lets you truly unwind. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Whether you’re looking to explore San Diego or just relax in a serene setting, this is the perfect place. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next trip!

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Great place with a very central location, close to the airport and zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities offered at the home. Lacee was very responsive and accommodating.

Stay was great, the kids loves the pool. They had lots of stuff we could use to tale to the beach which was great. Lots of supplies, I have rented places that were super stingy with everything, but this place had more of everything, including things we werent expecting, but needed.

It's in a super convenient location—within walking distance to a park, restaurants, and more. Parking was also very easy, which made things even better. Rosa’s Cottage is so unique, interesting and homey. We love to stay here! Even though we don’t need all three bedrooms, it is a great option in case our grandchildren want to stay over or if one of our Northern California adult children want to visit. It is so convenient and rare to have the use of a second bathroom in smaller homes, a bonus in case of extra family members. The dining table can seat 6 people. Bathrooms are nice sized, clean and have been tastefully updated. The backyard is adorable and we would use it much more if we visited when the weather was warmer. We have our own off street parking space and walk right in the front door to a one level house, making getting luggage and groceries easy to carry in and out. What can I say about Rosa? She is one of the kindest sweetest people you will ever meet and really wants you to have a great stay. We have had a couple of unexpected issues to deal with and she was very accommodating, making our concerns non-issues. Thanks, Rosa!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

Lizette’s place was nothing short of perfect for our San Diego weekend! Close enough to drive or uber to any malls or gaslamp district, and a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The backyard was clean and so nice to sit for a bonfire or sunny day with cornhole. House was spotless and I look forward to staying again!

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

Very responsive host. We felt right at home, bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The house was just as pictured and described too!

Diego’s home was the perfect space for our stay. The kitchen was well appointed and the spaces were comfortable and clean. The outdoor areas were relaxing and fun.

We had a splendid weekend trip to Elise’s rental. Was the perfect relaxing getaway. The Airbnb was a close drive to attractions and restaurants! The gem of this stay is the backyard. Such a serene atmosphere perfect for couples & families. Would definitely recommend this stay.

Catherine & Richard's home was such a treat! The style of the home is incredible, the rooms are large and the decor is beautiful. Nice, private, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds were a dream to sleep in with the most fluffiest, sleep inducing pillows! Sunrises & sunsets here are to die for and the views are picture perfect. Very close to Temecula - easy ride up a picturesque hill to the house. Needless to say, we had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon!

We loved it here! I stayed with some girl friends from out of town and the area is central to restaurants and things to do near the ocean. The house was well-kept and looked just like the photos. I enjoyed the privacy we had even though we had neighbors. The beds were quite comfortable with blackout curtains. Loved the kitchen/dining area and the pool table was a nice touch near the TV. Would recommend others to stay and would stay here again, myself!
