Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Oaxaca

Casa Azul is a very good Airbnb stay for a family or group seeking to explore Oaxaca and the surrounding region. It is located in the lovely and quiet neighborhood of Xochimilco, a pleasant and mostly downhill 15 min walk to Centro. It’s a unique property with the opportunity to enjoy your morning coffee/ breakfast and your evening cocktail with a stunning rooftop view of the mountains from your outdoor kitchen/ living space. There are wonderful bakeries and chocolate shops close by, as well as the Michelin listed restaurant Ancestral, just next door. Ruben, Niz and Jazmine were responsive hosts, both promptly resolving any issues that arose and providing helpful recommendations. In particular, Ruben recommended Anuar as a guide. Anuar was excellent, taking us on a whole day tour of Teotitlán del Valle (textiles), Matatlan (mezcal) and Hierve el Agua (swimming and waterfalls) -- and a delicious lunch at the local market in Tlacolula.

Great place to stay, with lots of nice spots to rest and socialize. The staff was amazing, the host was responsive and friendly.

This is our 5th year staying here for 1 week and we will be back next year. One of the most beautiful Airbnbs in the world. Highly recommended to disconnect from the chaos of modern life and tune in to yourself and to nature. Spectacular!

The wooden box is a wonderful escape, with great hosts who are very attentive. The hosts will help you call a taxi, which is necessary for a large grocery store, and leaving the village. There is a lovely spa called Chocolate de Agua near the house. The natural landscape does host a lot of critters. Be mindful of your surroundings.

Our stay was excellent. The house is very nice, comfortable and well maintained, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The pool was always at a perfect temperature, ideal for relaxing at any time of day. Gigi was an amazing host, always attentive and aware of every detail, which made our experience even better—definitely one of the best (if not the best) we've had on Airbnb. The location is very convenient: although it is not in the center, by car we did a maximum of 15 minutes to get there. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

I would add +10 more starts to their communications! We didn’t see you in person but you guys are one of my favorites hosts that I ever had. Sweet, responsive, and we loved that there are lots of great recommendations from hosts in order to enjoy Oaxaca. We wish to stay longer. I personally like a place with lots of sun light coming in but this place was kinda dark on the first floor. But that’s it. Interior and details are so pretty we felt home. Great location, beautiful neighborhood with lots of pretty coffee shop. My auntie and uncle first time visiting Mexico and I am so happy they were enjoying time here. This is a unique life experience. Stop deliberating and book the place! As others have mentioned it is even cooler in person; the architectural details never end from the pass through views an unique portals to the minute details like the floating shelf off the back of the bed with hidden outlet to charge your device to the perfectly aligned infinity pool. If you geek out on features check out the scribed cut outs for the trash cans. Mario and the whole crew make planning your whole vacation seamless from walkable caught and cooked fish delivered on platters to your table to easily booked excursions (we opted for a private 7 bays tour and snorkeling for our kids). We would return in a heartbeat. The one caveat? The bugs come out at night and this is a natural world experience so don’t expect to be sealed off from the bugs and surf sounds. The mosquito nets and screens worked exceptionally well, but if you are chilling for the sunset the bugs will join. For us, this was no issue.

The rooftop terrace makes the apartment feel special and unique. Amazing views up there! Luis was a friendly and helpful host. He spent a lot of time answering our questions about Oaxaca and explaining the local history. He's a great guy. The location is slightly outside of the touristy areas, but it's an easy walk, and we actually enjoyed staying in a more local neighborhood away from the hotels and bars. We would happily return to Luis' apartment in the future. No problems at all.

I’ll start by saying that Maria is a fantastic host in every way. This Airbnb was exactly what we were looking for. Maria’s place is located within short walk to amazing restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, the downtown city area, historic sites and markets. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and sound proof the residence was because how it is built and set back. The benefits of being close to everything while also not having any of the noise concerns of doing so. It’s a very safe and comfortable accommodation. We also noticed how well insulated it was from the heat during hot days. It really is a gem and good find. I would definitely stay at this location again during another trip to Oaxoca.

Well located appartment, an easy walk into main part of town and lots of restaurants /bars/ cafes close by. The apartment is very well put together, nicely decorated and designed. I would mention that the photos make it look much bigger than it is. Good communication and they were kind enough to leave us a gift too! Would stay again

place 10/10 An incredible villa for you and your partner, with a beautiful view. At night you can leave the sliding door open to hear the waves of the sea. The place is very clean and has a lot of privacy. I definitely recommend it.

My stay at “Los Soles Oaxaca” was great, thanks to the warm and welcoming hospitality of Paulina and Julien! They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed—a welcome fruit basket, fresh flowers, cerveza y agua upon arrival. They were always available for any questions and offered good recommendations on places to eat. The property was spotlessly clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities I needed. One of the highlights was when Paulina and Julian brought a bowl of fruit salad with yogurt and granola, warm chocolate, and bread since I didn’t have the time to go to the grocery store. I highly recommend Los Soles Oaxaca to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

For those that only read the first line of reviews , simply put we found this home perfect. Now if you are still reading we will tell you that the attention we received from our host was top notch. Constanza and Clara communicated through the app so well . When we wanted a more personal communication they meet us face to face. . We learned so much about the culture of the city and some spots we would never of found in a guide book or google searches. The home itself was as described and the plants throughout the courtyard were beautiful and soothing. Picking this location for your trip is something you will not regret

Zanduga was amazing. Abdiel was very responsive and was quick to help with whatever we needed. the communal areas were great for sitting around and playing cards and the pool was a nice extra to end the day after walking all around the city. The leave apartment is cozy and great for couples or family families . would recommend to anyone

The condominium is impeccable, with no problems in terms of services, the right accessories, and a spectacular view. The private pool, a very nice space. The hotel's facilities are very good and functional. In general, a very nice place to spend a few days relaxing. Just consider walking up a few floors to get to the condominium. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful place, the photos don't do it justice and the service was excellent, the only thing I suggest is that they fix the small flaws in the condo The flaws were small, nothing significant compared to the place and the hotel service. We 💕 could have avoided going out, there is everything inside and the beach is the most beautiful and private of the ones we visited. We even took souvenirs from the hotel because there were unique handicrafts
