The bungalow is perfectly located; just far enough off the main drag so as to be quiet while also within easy walking distance of the village and beach. With an adequately stocked kitchen, reliable / fast internet, and plenty of fans, it was an easy and comfortable week. Ease of communication, flexibility on check-in as well as providing a safe place to store luggage after checkout - thank you Andrea!

Tita’s place was charming and felt very safe. The yard and garden were full of flowering plants and were very well kept-a lovely place to sip coffee in the morning. We spent a week there and Tita and her family made us feel at home-friendly and always willing to help us find our way around. The neighborhood is full of murals and we enjoyed exploring by foot and being greeted by their sweet and very mellow dog upon our return.

This bungalow was absolutely breath-taking. It is tucked up on a cliff. This is certainly the quietest place I have ever stayed in Mexico. We were able to down to Puerto Angel and Zipolite easily. The pool and surroundings were very nice. Daniela and the team were all very helpful. Neighbors were friendly. I would return.

This place was a fantastic way to end our trip in Oaxaca. Peaceful, right by the ocean. You can swim and snorkel (they provide you with gear). It felt like we were in a tree house sleeping at night, bed was comfy and the hammock is amazing on the patio “which is huge”. A little private sanctuary!

Perfect Peacefull Bungalow

Beautiful and quiet bungalow in an absolutely stunning location. I was there at the tail end of the dry season and it was gorgeous but you also could see all thru the neighborhood, especially at the little scenic area on the corner, how breathtakingly beautiful everything must be when it rains and there is running water in the stream and fountains. Altogether, this has to be one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Pamela was very kind and very flexible, which made all of the difference in the world with me arriving on an early morning flight into Oaxaca. I felt safe and loved listening to the sounds of nature at night with the windows open. It was also very easy to hop on the road to go anywhere else I wanted to go for the day, including Hierve el Agua, Mitla, Monte Alban and the zocalo in the city center. I would highly recommend Pamela's place as a must stay if visiting Oaxaca!

Such a beautiful stay! The host had a helper that helped with all the luggage (which was very needed, the stay is at a top of a very tall hill with steps) and was so kind, helpful and friendly. We were able to rent a quad which made it much easier to get around. Mazunte is magical. The stay itself was one of my favorites in Oaxaca the view was unbeatable and totally worth all the steps. There is no AC but there is a fan which was appreciated & needed at night. One thing to take note of is be prepared for noise at night. The dogs of the city all bark all night it seems and the windows don’t exactly close. It’s all part of the experience just something to be aware of and definitely bring earplugs. You can’t beat this view and hospitality though I would absolutely stay again 😊

Our family of four had an absolutely delightful stay at Marilu’s home. The space is welcoming and filled with vibrant and unique decor. Relaxation options abound in both indoor and outdoor sitting areas, including balconies for each bedroom and a huge main patio adjacent to the kitchen. Marilu’s has incorporated thoughtful amenities to make the space feel like home, and the views can’t be beat. We were within close driving distance to excellent snorkeling (5 minutes away at Estacahuite Beach) and great restaurants. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.

Being directly across from the beach was great and hearing the ocean waves at night was incredibly relaxing. The bed was also very comfortable as well as the entire flat. There are nice restaurants in shops near by and getting around was very easy. Ernst was a really great host and very helpful with suggestions of sights in the area. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a vacation rental. I would 100% recommend and also would stay again.

What am amazing house! We stayed at casitas mar and although there were other places close to us we felt very secluded. Leti is a great chef and highly recommend having her come cook for you! Also if you want to bring food beforehand, make sure you grab it from puerto escondido because it’s a long drive and the road is a dirt road not wide enough for two cars.

My stay at Casita Zayan was very peaceful and comfortable! Beautiful beaches are within enjoyable walking distance! Also plenty of great places to eat between the casa and Rinconada! A laundry is less than a block away! I even enjoyed walking to the open aire market in the center of Puerto Escondido! I love to be out and about but this airbnb was so comfortable and peaceful I enjoyed staying on the property, in the Casita or on the patio! All the trees kept it cool! I rate them the sweetest hosts! oh and the beds are comfortable!

I had a wonderful two-week stay with my son at Sara’s Airbnb studio, located across from Mercado Zicatela and just a few blocks from a quiet beach. The studio is situated uphill from the beach, but it’s within walking distance, and you can hear the soothing sound of ocean waves at night and early morning from the private patio. Mercado Zicatela offers a variety of small restaurants and shops open from 7 AM to 6 PM. Given the hot weather, we especially enjoyed relaxing in Sara’s swimming pool every evening. The property is very secure, and the surrounding area feels safe. We often stayed at the beach until sunset and walked around afterward. Just three blocks away is the taqueria Uno y Más, which serves dinner from 6 PM to 2 AM. It’s also easy to catch a taxi from Mercado Zicatela to visit Punta Zicatela and its restaurants. Tour companies had no trouble picking us up directly from the Airbnb for activities like dolphin watching. The neighborhood dogs and kitties were the cutest!

Great place. We really liked the location, close to Puerto Angel, that is less of a touristy place. Just a little further is Zipolite, which you can find lots of action. It is best to plan on having a vehicle here. The beach is a bit of a hike to get to, but few people visit, which is nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Wonderful, my partner and I stayed 4 nights. Tina is very friendly. The pool is always clean, the kitchen is super useful and well-appointed, it has direct beach access, it has lounge chairs and chairs to see the sea. What I liked the most was having breakfast every day in front of the sea, her pet Palma is a sweetheart, arriving and being able to enjoy the pool was also wonderful. The warm/cold shower is appreciated because of the very hot weather, even though it is the rainy season. I highly recommend it.

Diego was an amazing host. My trip was super last minute, and with me not knowing the area at all I had a ton of questions (more than usual). Diego was incredibly helpful, especially with arranging taxis and making sure everything went smoothly. It made the whole experience very chill and meant I didn't have to stress about anything. I’d absolutely recommend him and his place to anyone. And if you’re feeling unsure about coming to the area for the first time, don’t worry: Diego will look after you! Looking forward to coming back :)

Absolutely loved my stay at Elizabeth’s! Everything was perfect; the views, the room, hospitality was amazing, the dogs on the property are extremely friendly and always close by acting as security 😂❤️ or just wanting pets. Siting on the porch, I can watch iguanas walking by, hummingbirds in the trees, and watch and listen to the waves crashing on the beach. Love this stay and the hosts.

Great stay! Jaime was flexible about check in time and allowed me to arrive early which I really appreciated! The location is perfect, quiet and private but walking distance to the centro and everything you might need. It’s a studio so it’s perfect for one person or a couple. There is a lovely small outdoor space to sit. Amenities are basic but sufficient. I loved the natural light in the bathroom. There aren’t screens on the windows or doors so if like me you need doors open for fresh air, be sure to bring bug spray. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Very beautiful view, friendly and helping hosts, it is really worth to spend some days there. The cabin has no windows, only moskito nets - which is good for ventilation but also let‘s all the noise in from outside. All in all very cozy and romantic!
