Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oaxaca

The Casita was great for our needs it was right in the center of the San Agustinillo action just a short walk down the hill now I will say the hill was a little daunting but we are hearty souls so it was no problem no AC for the hot humid sleeping was a bit of an issue but she had adequate fans to keep us cool at night overall great experience

David’s place was wonderful. A perfect spot for our family when visiting Oaxaca!

Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a beautiful, secluded location, offering us the perfect getaway to enjoy each other with marvelous sunsets every night. Miles of endless beach, the serene beauty of the coastline; we even saw whales! The layout of the property was well thought out. We loved being able to transition seamlessly between the indoor spaces and the inviting outdoor areas (no bugs!) Eva provided outstanding service with efficiency and warmth. The delicious chef service with Ivan and Jesus was another highlight. Prepared delicious meals that added a special touch to our experience with a local touch of fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh squeezed pineapple juice and hibiscus water. Sweet Faviola did a fantastic job of keeping the property clean and tidy. She was discreet and did not get in the way, allowing us to fully enjoy our time at the property. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Casana is a beautiful space and makes a great home base for exploring Oaxaca. Mariana and her staff are very communicative and available. We loved having the pool and the beautiful natural fountain onsite. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) to spread out and enjoy our downtime here!

Trust the reviews on this one… Antonio’s place is amazing! The house is expansive, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. I don’t think I have ever felt so welcomed at an Airbnb with fruit and drinks and a friendly and responsive host. The location is perfect for access to Oaxaca’s restaurants and shops, as well as Hierve el Agua and Mitla and Teotitlàn del Valle. History, culture, natural wonders, sophisticated cuisine are all at your fingertips. That is, if you can put your mezcal down and bring yourself to leave the poolside chairs!

Un alojamiento céntrico de fácil acceso a los puntos de interés, yo viajé con una persona con silla de ruedas y no tuvimos ningún problema con los accesos ni dentro ni fuera de la casa. Elena muy amable y conocedora de aspectos culturales e históricos importantes del lugar. Sin duda regresaría, tal vez en época de menos calor.

Mi familia y yo quedamos muy satisfechos con el hospedaje. La casa es muy amplia, cómoda y segura. Los ventiladores de las recámaras refrescan muy bien👍🏻. This was an amazing Airbnb find with an even better host. A great location with the main attractions just down the street. Our host was always quick to reply and always had a solution for any accommodations needed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My stay was beautiful. The home is bright, clean, & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s no oven, but I cooked every meal I wanted. The bed is comfy, & the patio is perfect for breakfast. There’s a stunning hike nearby. Map to “Montecito,” take the left fork, and it loops back to the house. More trails are a short taxi ride away. Buses to the city are easy (10 pesos), & DiDi for taxi. Maria offers a ride if it aligns with her work schedule. She’s incredibly kind & genuinely cares about her guests. Filtered water is available upon request, which was super helpful. There’s also a sweet cleaning service from Carmelita. The local market near Mula Café has amazing fresh produce. The neighborhood is peaceful & friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as dogs sometimes bark at night. This place feels like home thanks to the love and generosity of Maria and her family. I’m so grateful to have found it.

The place was lovely. It was basic but functional and had everything that we needed. The host was very responsive and gave us local recommendations. It was unseasonably cool while we were there and we needed to bundle up a bit at night. The neighbourhood was walkable and close to many shops and restaurants. It is close to the airport so you can hear the planes in the morning. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

Amazing place and hosts! It’s a very peaceful area, very close to the beach and with lovely views from the rooftop. The rooms are clean and convenient. Both Christian and Maria Laura are very friendly and support in any questions! Great recommendations and they offer the possibility to rent scooters and activities. Would 100% go back!

Me pareció un lugar super agradable y acogedor, aunque no esta tan céntrico esta muy cerca de la zona céntrica. Todo muy bien equipado. En el momento de ocupar había 2 autos de igual número de apartamentos, pero uno puede quedar adentro y otro afuera.

What an excellent AirBNB! Sara Isabel and her family were so incredibly welcoming and friendly. You will immediately feel like family. Sara and her family live on-site and are happy to assist quickly when needed. The AirBNB was very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cookware to prepare meals at home. When not enjoying Oaxaca, I loved watching TV on the large Smart TV. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The AirBNB was very quiet day and night. The surrounding area was safe with restaurants and tiendas (stores) within a short walk. I enjoyed walking up and down the hill to Centro every day. It was a great workout! The water to the AirBNB ran out during my stay but was fixed very quickly. There are 4-5 large cisterns on-site so water was never out for more than one hour. I had a great four weeks at Roci’s place. The space is beautiful and comfortable. Roci herself is a very hands-on host and was very helpful in my acclimation to Oaxaca. The internet in the apartment is strong and I was able to work without any glitches. The rooftop terrace is great, especially in the mornings and evenings. I also enjoyed getting to knowRoci and the other guests. I definitely recommend the place.

Mi estancia fue muy agradable, los anfitriones siempre estuvieron al pendiente de cualquier cosa. El lugar es un poco pequeño pero demasiado agradable. La ubicación y al rededores son poco accesible si no cuentas con vehículo.

A wonderful cabaña right by the beach for anyone looking forward to an open-air nature-first retreat on the Oaxaca coast. A few seconds from the beach for a morning walk or a quick dip (note: due to currents + swells a lot of the beaches in this are not so swimming friendly), and a short wander into San Augustinillo for a sunbathe, brunch, or a morning boat-tour for whale + dolphin watching. Mario is an amazing host, always taking care of our needs, refilling our drinking water, checking in on us and helping us book a taxi. We slept downstairs with the mosquito net but there is also a lockable mezzanine room with space for another 3 to sleep. Toilet + shower situation is pretty rudimentary but no problem at all for those that enjoy a bit of outdoor living. All in all a highly recommendable beach lodging to make your home whilst in Oxacan beach paradise.

Absolute dream stay steps from the beach. Hand built, amazing attention to detail, one of a kind, peaceful, beautiful, private home. Could go on forever about how much I loved all the little things that made this stay so comfortable but then throw in the moon, stars, breeze, sound of the waves, birds chirping… words really can’t describe. I would DEF stay here again and DEF recommend it over options closer to PE or Mazunte, if you’re looking for a serene, peaceful retreat. And if you like to surf. Also, Ryan. You’re in good hands. Great (actual human being) host.

Pedro’s place is truly special. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind in the beauty of nature. Himself and his family are beautiful people, and his two dogs are so friendly and followed me everytime on my daily hikes through the beautiful mountains. I cannot recommend this highly place enough!

Noe y su esposa fueron muy amables y todo el tiempo estuvieron al pendiente de que yo estuviera cómoda incluso me recomendaron lugares para visitar y me compartieron de sus alimentos. La cabaña es pequeña pero muy cómoda, con todo lo necesario para estancias cortas, el acceso es un poco complicado pero aún asi se me hace una excelente opción.

Great Family onsite taking care of every need you will have from cooking great meals to starting your fire each night. Host is local to the areas for their entire lives and have knowledge of great hiking. One of the most relaxing trips ever.
