Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Norwich

We had a lovely stay the location is stunning on the river with amazing views from the hot tub. The property itself is great, lovely bedrooms and communal spaces. The balcony is lovely to set and relax. We have already booked to go again .

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

An excellent location as a base to visit coast and inland locations. A tight turn off the main road - so just be aware of cars speeding round the corner. Attention to detail was excellent from the hosts - fresh flowers, dog blankets and the largest welcome ‘pack’ we’ve encountered, including a number of homemade products - over and beyond expectation. Julie and Graham were very friendly and informative and The Bothy has everything you’d need for a great break - the place will not disappoint. Many thanks

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

Had a lovely few days in Horning staying in Mandalay. The house is equipped with everything you need and a credit to host Tom. Plenty to explore in the area or just chill out with beer or a vino by the river in the nearby pubs and watch the world go by. Thoroughly enjoyed our break Tom ! Thanks, Tony and Carol

It was an amazing stay for our little family of 3, Perdee was very responsive, friendly and flexible with letting us check in early and check out later. The location is beautiful and the scenery is something else. If you enjoy a peaceful stay and are a fan of animals this is a must stay! Can’t thank Perdee enough for the hospitality.

Alison and Claire were the perfect hosts. Lots of communication before and during the visit. The cottage is lovely: very tastefully renovated with comfy beds and lots of hot water! We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return.

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

Lovely little chalet with plenty of things to do locally and on-site. Excellent value for money as well. All in all, deffo going on the favourites list.

Fantastic comfortable stay very private and quiet location well equipped kitchen bathroom comfortable bed patio doors from bedroom to allocated private garden for our use only. Excellent parking pub round the corner Tesco superstore too oh and park and ride to get into Norwich a 10 minute walk. We will definitely book again

A lovely weekend stay. This little place had everything you need. It is currently undergoing some work outside so we didn’t make use of the outside area but inside the property it was lovely, well equipped with the basics. The bath was a nice little addition especially when you have children as after a long day exploring. The skylight was great if no one is using the room to sleep in but when sofa bed was in use it really impacted sleep. Being summer months my daughter struggled to get off to sleep and then was up extreemly early with the sunrise. The sofa bed was ok for our 3 year old but I’d say it’s not good enough for an adult or teen. This is something that could easily be resolved with a new mattress or topper. Overall we had a fantastic time for Father’s Day and our daughter loved it! Great little location, felt very safe. Glenn was very responsive and willing to help. We would happily book again and recommend to friends.

Very relaxing couple of days. Gtmreat location and fantastic area. Highly recommend for a beautiful get away. The yurt is gorgeous and just like the photos. It rained most of our stay but that added to the serenity of the accommodation. 😁❤️

Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

A beautiful and peaceful spot tucked away in nature. The cottage is stylishly designed with lovely touches throughout, and the surrounding woodland makes it feel really special. Perfect for a quiet weekend escape. We left feeling calm, cosy, and completely recharged.

I booked this break for my wife’s birthday, we did little shop just up the road at Tesco then found address easy with Apple Maps, Donna came straight out to welcome us, showed us around, introduced us to dogs after checking we were ok with them, then she left us to enjoy our stay, we loved the hot tub whilst listening to the birds singing and visiting the feeders, we cooked on the bbq. The surroundings were so peaceful and was great to unwind and recharge in the most beautiful setting. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Staying at this beautifully converted Barrel House was an absolute delight. Every detail of this stylish retreat has been thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that feels like a true escape. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm and incredibly friendly hosts who made us feel right at home. One of the most special touches was the surprise of fresh bread, butter, and breakfast essentials - such a treat and a perfect start to the morning. Highly recommended! wish we could have stayed longer.
