Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

A beautiful quiet self contained space within easy walking distance of the town. Sara was friendly and welcoming, her homemade cookies were amazing, and I appreciated the beautiful flowers 😊 Thanks, it was exactly what I was looking for and I'd definitely stay again 😊

The location was great for us,being in walking distance from our son and his family.The studio was perfect,Spotisly clean and so easy for my Disabled husband because everything was on one level and beautifully fitted everything was of excellent quality.

This was a lovely stay! The house was cozy and very clean, easy to find, clear instructions for everything, & had everything that we could have needed during our stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. We had a problem with the heater but they came and helped us out the next day directly! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay :)

Linda was so so helpful. She was an amazing host and was so quick to help. Very grateful for her welcoming nature. She was the first stop on our Hadrians Wall hike and set the bar high for accommodation!

This was the perfect place to stay while we were in Newcastle visiting family. Lots of hanging space for clothes, the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, and there’s a comfortable lounge room too. It’s very clean and quiet. The flat is near a metro station, 8 mins walk to Gosforth high st and 15 mins walk to the cafes in Jesmond. Best still, the Jesmond Dene path begins just down the road. Miriam is the best host: very polite and quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended!!!

The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. The only difficulty we had was the smart lock once we got the hang of it was not a problem. The house was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The parking was spacious enough for two large vehicles with Lidl supermarket more or less on the doorstep. Next time I am in the area would like to stay here again

Nice house 100m from the sea, easy to walk out to harbour and coast. All clean, tidy, warm, had all we needed. Good local shops and restaurants. Amble is a small coastal town with a marina and a working harbour (fresh fish at the restaurant was superb).

A lovely home in a beautiful location! Situated on a very quiet cul-de-sac but only a 10 minute walk from Amble with its beautiful harbour and shops/restaurants/cafes. Perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast line, so much to see while not having to drive too far. House was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and Paul kept in touch to make sure all was ok. Food wise we ate at Rossini’s (Italian) and Wellwood Arms (pub grub) and food at both were great. Gracy’s cafe was brilliant for lunch, lovely and cosy and very dog friendly. They made a huge fuss of our Cavalier Poppy! Couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay for my birthday. Definitely fell in love the Amble while we were there! Thanks again Paul.

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Jane was a brilliant & welcoming host and we loved everything about our stay. The cottage has been so thoughtfully & beautifully put together, & I agree with a previous review that the space is even better in real life! Spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need. The garden was a delight, we spent a long time watching all sorts of birds visit the feeder from the cosy garden room, including a very dandy woodpecker! We visited the coast on the days we visited (loved Alnmouth, Low Newton and Beadnell) and this was a great base camp to come back to. Perfect for dogs too as you can walk around the beautiful estate before heading out for the day. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Jane!

Absolutely fantastic host, very responsive to our messages and was very flexible to accommodate our very late check in. Very understanding as we booked under difficult circumstances. Lovely spacious house and in immaculate condition.

We loved every minute of our stay and nothing was a bother to Mary. We were sent a lot of information before our arrival and Mary even took the time to inform us on the day that the cottage was ready early and we could check in as we pleased and also accommodating a late check out at no extra cost. The cottage was well equipped and we were supplied with tea ..coffee and some extra special biscuits along with fresh milk in the fridge on arrival which was really thoughtful. The bed was super cosy, bedding spotlessly clean and towels were super soft and fluffy . We did spend time on the outside patio which was relaxing and peaceful .There is absolutely nothing negative i have to say about my stay i will definitely be returning for another stay

Rod and Laura’s place was awesome! Super clean, comfy, and had everything I needed — felt just like home. The bed was really comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short drive to town. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

We used this as accommodation for some of our pantomime cast. A great home away from home with everything they needed. Will certainly book again!

Airbnbs don't get better than this! The property is peaceful and secluded away but still every easily accessible with shops and cafes nearby. The house had everything you could think of to make you feel right at home with the welcoming hosts even leaving milk, butter, bread, and cakes for us as well as a bed for our dog. The house is spotlessly clean and had a very comfy bed. We could not recommend staying here enough you won't regret it!

We would highly recommend this wonderful accommodation! We loved the historical building conveniently located right across the street from the train station. The interior is updated, spotless, inviting and very comfortable. The kitchen has new appliances and everything needed to cook meals. The beds were also very comfortable, with lovely linens. We particularly appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Richard met us at the home and gave us a warm welcome and the information we needed for our stay. He was very responsive to any communications and made sure we were well cared for. Our week in Morpeth was made ever so much more enjoyable because we had such a great place to stay--thank you, Richard!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!

What a great place to stay. It's a great location in beautiful Warkworth. We've visited many times over the years and we were very pleased to find somewhere so lovely and comfortable to stay in the village. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Warkworth in the future.

Sarah was very easy to contact with any questions and gave us good advice with things to do locally. The location is quite and peaceful but within a 5 minute drive you can be close to shops, restaurants etc should you wish. The bed was sooo comfy. I would definitely stay again. 1 thing I would suggest is to read the instructions on how to get there provided by Sarah. I didn't until I got lost, then followed them exactly and took me right to the door 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
