Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

Seahouses is an attractive destination and this apartment looking out to sea is excellent. Well located, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the communication from Chris the best I have come across. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely compact flat, right in the heart of Berwick. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants, beach, castle and a 5min walk across the bridge to Tweedmouth. Host was proactive with instructions and helpful when needed. Thank you 😊

I booked this place for my parents and they enjoyed every minute of their stay at Michelle’s place, wishing they could extend their stay even longer. The apartment is identical to the photos. Michelle maintained contact throughout the stay and was always responsive, if needed. A beautiful home and a beautiful view, with an attentive host. Everything is close by, walking distance or venturing out in the car. All in all a very peaceful and easy stay, which is what everyone is looking for. Thanks again Michelle!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Also loved the tie sofa! The centre of Seahouses and the coastal path were in very easy reach.

Lovely renovated building with plenty of character. Central position to Berwick with everything in walking distance. Surprisingly quiet for its location in the city center and next to harbour. Everything in house we needed and no issues. Jon was great at communicating everything we needed and very helpful.

Nice big house with lovely view of the sea. Great location for access to the beach and can also walk to neighbouring Seahouses.

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

A wonderful quiet stay in a delightful flat on the second floor with wide stairs. Comfortable with everything provided with tasteful decor. Easy to find the keys with excellent access when parking the car. View was lovely and a great location for the beach and local amenities. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Robert

We decided spontaneously to have weekend away and Dexter was really accommodating as we literally booked it, threw things in the car and left. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready for us and even changed his own plans to do this. The house was perfect for us and our dogs. It was literally a stones throw to the beach (you could even see it from the main bedroom window) We had a wonderful, restful weekend and the dogs are tired out from beach fun and lovely walks. We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!

We had a comfortable and peaceful three night stay. The car park was within the apartment complex and there is a dedicated parking space. It’s completely secure. It takes two minutes to get from the car park to the apartment. Very nicely set up inside the flat and perfect for a couple or solo. The king sized bed was very comfortable and with nice linen. Decent sofa and well equipped kitchen. Ideally situated for the city and just a short stroll to the Metro. We ate out twice at Simla Indian restaurant and had the fixed price lunch at The French Quarter; both recommended. Comms with Karen was great. Strong Wi-Fi. Tranquil. Warm. As an Airbnb veteran, I rate this place highly. For so it be written.

Located on the tidal River Tyne,,,Mark's flat is a 'serene setting by the sea',, providing a :55 min walkable 'friendly locals' espanade to the Swing bridge into town,,you'll see birds,,dramatic skies w/occasional sunset,,old shipping '5-Nfl long' wooden platform w/cranes for then coal,,, & folks exercising! Find the cafe too. Mark is a seasoned traveler, & he'll suggest local sights as,,the Lit & Phil 1700s library,,, Colbridge Roman ruins,,,plus finding museums as the Laing, Shipley, Hancock & Hatton. Always attentive & well informed. Thanks for your goodness.
