Joseph's Shepherds Hut Hadrians Wall

GinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A fantastic place to stay, close to the town an easy walk to the pub but quiet and serene when you want to wind down. The hut was comfy and cosy well stocked with everything you could need. The double bed under the single makes for some entertainment when the person one the inside needs to get up in the night but 10/10 would definitely stay again!

SandraRating, 5 stars11 months ago
This was an absolute haven of peace and tranquillity The hut was filled with lots of lovely touches Rachael is sweet, helpful and thoughtful My Daughter, Grandchildren and myself loved every minute. the children did not want to leave, some tears shed. They said it was their favourite holiday, where else could they feed the horses in the morning with their pyjama's and wellies on.

William's Shepherds Hut Hadrians Wall

StuartRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Nice & quiet, shepherds hut was compact & cosy. 3 of us stayed for a night and we slept brilliantly, we didn't need heating but we imagine the log burner would of been lovely in winter. All told, a great place to get your head down with everything you need for a stay for a couple of nights or just a stopover.

Ben's Hut

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with the dog! Andrew was a great host, and very understanding when we had to rearrange our booking earlier this year. The hut was exactly as described/pictured, very cosy and clean, with stunning local walks.

Foxglove Shepherd's Hut - accessible accommodation

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Remote and peaceful location but within a drive of many beautiful scenic places. We loved feeding the horses and sitting on the wooden decking eating and drinking. The big double bed is super comfy and the little hut has all the basic necessities. A lovely play to relax and great for doggies. Host was there to greet us and messaged in advance to make sure everything was set up!

Teasel Shepherd's Hut - sleeps 4 family glamping

SusanRating, 5 stars23 months ago
The Shepherds hut was lovely and clea and very well equipped. Location was lovely, off grid, limited phone access. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, horses in the paddock next door. Great fire pit too. A car would have been nice but we arrived by train and took a taxi to the site. Lovely walk to local pub, about 6 miles away. Would definitely stay again it was so peaceful. Great communication from Crabtree and Cabtree

Matthew has really put the time and effort into making this place a delight and a real tranquil spot. Despite being 5 mins off of the A1, you would never know it, the perfect place to switch off and relax. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to switch off and relax.

Stylish secluded shepherd hut. Perfectly offgrid

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at The Ram, the location is private and peaceful and the hut itself is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with whatever you'd need. The hot tub was easy to get started and heated up quickly, with plenty of extra logs provided at a cost. Thank you to Matthew and the whole team who make sure everything is perfect for us to enjoy. We can't wait to come back.

Elsie's Retreat

AbbyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely and cosy place to stay! Hot tub was heated and ready for us arriving, and was tucked away beside the hut behind some trees, so very private. We needed firewood for our fire which was available to purchase, the firewood hadn’t been re-stocked on this occasion and within 5mins the owner was out with barrow full of logs for us. Very prompt and kind. Some previous reviews mention the noise from the road being too loud, me being someone who needs silence to sleep and who wears earplugs, I didn’t find the noise too loud and slept peacefully. Would definitely stay again ☺️ Thanks again!

Luxury Shepherd Hut, Hot Tub, Northumberland

NinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Fox’s Den is a beautiful lodge retreat! Perfect for a quiet weekend in, this place is like a home away from home! Exactly as described and shown in pictures, the Fox’s Den provides a scenic, peaceful stay in the English countryside. The hot tub, fire pit and barbecue were an added bonus too! Louise was such an amazing host - everything you could possibly think of was provided, and we were made to feel so welcome. We would recommend The Fox’s Den In Green Fields to anyone considering a stay here! Thank you so much Louise!

The Partridge Hut

SueRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

Bodos’ Woodland Shepards Hut

KavahnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and the only regret is we wish we stayed longer, the hut itself it’s cosy and clean and has everything you really require but the sauna and hot tub just topped it all off. The hut is in great location where you feel isolated yet still in a safe place. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Thyme

FrancescaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Everything was just as described. The shepherds hut had everything we needed for a bank holiday weekend and a lot of care had been put into making our stay special. The hut is in really lovely tranquil spot in an area not many tourists get to - the peace and quiet was just what we needed. Sitting in the afternoon sun was just blissful. We also visited Eyemouth, Coldingham Sands, Berwick Upon Tweed, Haddington and North Berwick - so plenty of interesting places nearby to see all not too far away - as well as some really nice local walks.

Shepherd’s Hut, Alston, Cumbria

CarolinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amazing place. A little cozy if you are bringing a medium/ big four legged friend. But otherwise it had all the essentials for a pleasant stay, it was very clean and well maintained. The check in was super flexible, which is a plus, and we received very clear instructions of how to find the place. Amazing views too!

‘Bracken Shepherd’s Hut at Pondihengery Glampsite’

TessRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The hut is situated in a beautiful location, south facing with wide views across to Simonside. It was very peaceful to sit outside in the sun each evening. It's located quite near to the other glamping pod, but has a big field and extensive play area. Inside is sweet, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful space-saving touches. It is well equipped and my daughter and I had a great time there. Rothbury is very close with a selection of shops, a Coop and various take-aways, and Rosie was happy to give us recommendations which were useful. There is also plenty of information available about day trips and walking in the area. Thank you, Rosie!

Cosy shepherds hut on Hadrian’s Wall

IanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Unexpectedly needing to find somewhere to stay not too far from Carlisle, and feeling the urge to try something a little different I spotted this little hut and was so pleased it was available. It is in a beautiful location near Hadrians Wall, with picture postcard views. Originally I was looking at camping in a tent which is also available at the same site, however I discovered the hut, and with the weather forecast in mind this seemed a better option..! Parking is in a small parking area about 5- 10 mins walk up the road, check in was really simple and after a short further walk through the trees I was at the hut. Beautifully presented, comfy bunk beds, table chairs etc and a lantern. It is off grid so the lantern about your only electric power source. I had a power bank anyway for charging phones etc but this is something you may wish to consider..! Really quiet location aside a few vocal sheep, the rain came down heavy but nice dry and warm for me. Great stay, thanks Emma!
