Tiny house vacation rentals in Northern Norway

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Everything was wonderful. The "Big Boss" was very helpful. He recommended good programmes and helped me to organise them. I can only recommend.

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

Beate and Havard are very friendly and helpful hosts. Communicating with them was quick and easy. We felt very comfortable. When we had an unforeseen problem, they helped us immediately. That wasn't self-evident. We are very grateful to them for this. The small house is lovingly furnished and offers everything you need. It is only a few meters to the water and the beautiful view can be enjoyed from the living room in any weather. We also saw a whale. If you want, you can even go kayaking or use snowshoes. We also received tips for activities. The property also offers plenty of parking. It is one of the most beautiful accommodations we have ever visited and we can highly recommend it.

It has been a pleasure to stay in your cabin. It's in a winter paradise, with amazing views. We had a perfect time and were able to see the famous Northern Lights, it was an experience we will never forget. Thank you for everything to Jana and Uffe, but also thank your son Viking who was attentive to our needs.

Heidi’s place is at the best location if you want to be close to Rovaniemi but to be able to see the northern lights at the same time. We stayed there 2 days to explore Rovaniemi before going to the north to see the northern lights but we already saw them in these two days. We felt like at home. Very cosy and peaceful.

I have to agree with other visitors. This is probably the best Airbnb if compares with the ones I stayed. Love the place. Really cosy and private as well. I will stay again if I come back to Norway in the future.

This stay was absolutely extraordinary—one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever experienced during my travels. The cabin is located right in front of a stunning fjord, offering breathtaking, unobstructed views. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by wild nature, and if you're lucky, you can even see the Northern Lights from the terrace. Occasionally, reindeer wander by, adding to the magic of the place. The accommodation was spotless and fully equipped, with a kitchen that includes an oven and stovetop, a coffee machine, fresh linens, towels, and a well-maintained bathroom. The mezzanine, sofa bed, and terrace facing the fjord make it a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host is amazing—super available, friendly, and full of great advice about the region and nearby spots to explore. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this place 110%!

We could definitely recommend Frank's house to stay for a couple of nights. We enjoyed it, however, but we expected to see the house cleaner and tidier. We were afraid to put our things away because then we might not find them among the piles of other things all over the house. If the person who lived before you didn't wash the dishes properly, then if that's important to you, you have to wash them before using. It would be nice to have a cleaner bed with a newer blanket and pillow (even if you put clean bedding over it). After all, it's hygiene. But everything else we liked. It's a pity that we didn't make a hole to jump into the lake after the sauna, because the ice was about 1 meter thick. But we caught a fish (and let it free). We saw an incredible aurora that shone all night. Frank was very friendly. Thank you for this interesting opportunity to spend a few days on the lake in Lapland!

The most amazing place. Beautiful view from the terrace which can also be enjoyed from the sofa or hot pot when the weather isn't nice. Erhard is a very kind and funny host. We look forward to revisiting.

We had a wonderful week at Catharina's. Everything was as described and in the photos. Great surroundings, wonderful view, great house and super nice hosts. Thank you for this experience, we would come back again and again on a trip to Sweden.

The accommodation was perfect to spend undisturbed, relaxed and cosy days in Lofoten. Monica gave us a lovely welcome and communication with her was uncomplicated. The view of the lake is beautiful and you can end the evenings by the fireplace. The location of the chalet is perfect for exploring Lofoten by car. There is also a supermarket nearby. We would definitely come back!

A clean and suitably sized cottage. Peaceful location in “cottage village”, close to services. We received clear instructions on what to do. The cottage warmed up. Hailuoto is a diverse hiking destination.

We felt right at home and there was absolutely nothing missing to spend a lovely time in the cottage. Svein and Siv are very warm hosts who make you feel welcome. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Very cute cabin with fantastic views. A lot of thought went into everything inside the cabin so it is well equipped and functional.

My stay was absolutely perfect! Stina, the host, was incredibly responsive, she replied quickly and was helpful with everything I needed. The house is tiny but well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing and it’s close to Kåge village , and just a few kilometers from town of Skellefteå , were you can find everything, It was the perfect spot for me, and I will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Also, having the mascot around was such a nice touch I absolutely loved the cat! Felt like home , thanks again Stina .

Super cosy place in the heart of RVN that is very well equipped (**Moomin cups are a surprise), spacious and clean. Frank is also super-friendly and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Absolute gem of a place !!

Upon arrival, Christina immediately came out to welcome us. She did an extensive tour of the cottage where the heating was already on and the lights immediately gave a homely atmosphere., explained everything friendly and interested. It immediately became a friendly chat. The cottage is an example of small but nice. Especially for 2 people, but more people can. It has everything you'll need. Plenty of spacious bedroom with a great large bed and closet space, a kitchen with the right stuff and a large fridge. Large dining table. Fortunately, the last night we were also able to meet Ove who had been traveling for a few days. And that too became a fun conversation and exchange of thoughts and experiences. We'd love to come back.
