Vacation rentals with beach access in Northern Norway

The place is really bigger in real life! Beautiful view, we were able to see some northern lights on the 31st! Arto is very responsive! I recommend it. ☺️

We had an awesome experience living in the house. The house was clean and tidy, fully equipped with necessary home appliances and cookware, etc.

We loved our stay at Astrid's place. It was a beautiful location with the house overseeing the ocean. The kitchen had all the amenities and the stay was clean, cozy and comfortable. The village is also cute and peaceful.

If you’re thinking of getting aurora tours, just get Rita’s guesthouse instead. It was super clean and cozy, and we saw the aurora for both nights!! Definitely will stay again if we ever visit Gimsøysand!

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

Absolutely lovely and idyllic apartment in a quiet area. You can see both the mountains and the sea from the yard. The host was incredibly friendly and everything was explained more than clearly. We had a truly wonderful mini-vacation. The apartment was clean, and to our delight the breakfast items were very plentiful and had plenty of options. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Absolutely brilliant stay! The place is beautiful and in a great location. Plenty of space and great amenities available. The shower was great! Hege was really responsive and really helpful. I can’t fault it. I had a great stay and would love to stay again!

The house is very clean and spacious, with an amazing view right outside the window — trust me, you’ll 100% find yourself striking all kinds of poses for photos! The location is peaceful, and the supermarket is just a short drive away. I would definitely love to come back again in the future!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Dragon Villa Reine. The house had everything we needed, and some extras. The hot tub felt great after a chilly hike. I would definitely stay there again!

We had 5 nights at Karin's house. We are two adults and two children ages 8 and 10. The house is very cozy and was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed the beautiful winter landscape and the frozen fjord. The house is not far from Luleå, but you have to get out of some small road with limited speed, so it takes about 25 minutes. The drive is very beautiful through the winter forest, and the road was nicely cleared while we were there. Karin is very flexible and accommodating, and we got really good information both before and after check out.

Warm and cozy apartment. A beautiful location.

The apartment itself was cozy and clean, and the host was very friendly. The only downside is the noise of the environment, especially at night, which is not properly melted by such a country. Otherwise, the area is beautiful and the building itself is peaceful.

A nice and very clean apartment with everything you might need for a weekend getaway. Incredibly lovely to have a sauna in the home but even more amazing was the giant terrace where you could both eat and chill in the sun. Quite warm in the apartment already in April but great value in having such large private areas available. Highly recommend!

This place is and will be fantastic. First of all, seeing Frank was very nice. He immediately makes you feel very welcome. He is hospitable and cheerful. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. Clean, large windows, nice bed, good kitchen essentials and a wood-burning stove outside to light a fire. The views over the coast and the mountains are phenomenal and due to the rapidly changing light, you never get bored. It's a really restful place and it was a valuable ‘coming home’. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and Hanna-Leena was very accommodating with everything (in-cancellation, etc.), which made our trip very successful! The glassed-in balcony was perfect for naps and our sweetheart enjoys bathing so the tub was a bonus. The location by the river was perfect considering all the activities we wanted to do.
