Vakthusøya - Nybryggen - on a small island

Vakthusøya is an island, about 150 meters from Henningsvær, where you use a small motor boat for access. Parking is approx. 100 meters from the floating dock by boat. On the island, a sea ladder is used to get on and off the boat, and the boat is pulled out on a tow rope. Nybryggen is the place if you like an authentic place on an island, very quiet and at the same time a few minutes' rowing from the famous fishing community Henningsvær. The apartment is located in an original row house jetty, has views and is an excellent starting point for all activities in the area.

My wife and I are hosts of Hugla Camp and accommodation, which is a totally renovated school in beautiful surroundings on the island of Hugla, which is about 7 minutes by ferry from Nesna. Here we have nice nature to hike in, pastures you can walk to and lakes you can swim in. If you like to walk on flat roads, the opportunities for this are here too and then you will probably meet some of the island's nice people. At the Camp there is a large garden with a barbecue area and benches where you can barbecue and enjoy the seagulls and possibly an elk passing by.

Malören is a beautiful island, 30 km out in Bottenviken from Kalix. Here you will experience peace and quiet in a nature reserve with the horizon as a view. On Malören, there are many sights and the island has a rich history. The chapel is the only sea church in Sweden that has a cathedral spire. The lighthouse was designed by the famous Gustaf von Heidenstam in 1850. You go to an island and leave the outside world with all its problems on land. Enjoy the view, the tranquility, the bird life and the distinctive nature of the Malören nature reserve.

Smia - a private island paradise in Lurøy

If you've ever dreamed of staying on a deserted island, this is your chance. Smia, an old log cabin is located on Lunderøya, just outside Sleneset. You can get here by boat - we pick up and bring our guests of course. Here you can live the simple life, go straight out into nature and completely disconnect from life's many stressful moments. Close to the elements, surrounded by the sea and the changing light on the Helgeland coast, this is a completely unique place to spend time.

Private island and small cabin

1ha Private island, small cabin and lakeside sauna. Beds for 4-6. Gas stove, 2x fireplace. One separate bedroom and in the living room there's two sofas suitable for sleeping. Electricity comes from the sun and, if necessary, from generator. Outdoor sauna (no shower) and outhouse (no WC). Water from well. You can swim directly from the sauna at your own small sandy beach, or you can even splash into the water from the pier. Access to island by boat takes about 6 minutes.

In winter, you can ski, walk or snowmobile on the river ice. The sea is about 2 kilometers from the cottage. Ideal for overnight stays or longer stays.
