Experience the midnight sun in the summer and northern light in the winter from our cabin. Located by the sea, with all facilities and parkingplace. 60m2, spread over two floors. Two bedrooms with five sleepingplaces in total. We can also provide with a extra bed for a baby. A perfect spot to discover Tromso and it's surroundings due to the close location to the city and at the same time as it is located with nature close by. In the summertimes we can rent out bikes and a boat with a driver.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Close to some of the areas most spectacular mountains, fjords, beaches, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, from towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The bus connection is very limited.

Her er det kort vei til både fjell og elv, så det er riktig og si at du er midt i nord-norsk natur. Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
