Matthew is a very friendly host. Always smiling and bursting with enthusiasm of the carriages, which was a delightful experience. Local pub , for nice food. A village store. Thee most glorious beach, on the doorstep. Would recommend for a relaxing break and beach lovers.

Beautiful area, beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful lady. Wendy really couldn’t do enough. From the get go she was comfortable to get on with and friendly and knowledgeable. I felt so at home with Frank the dog watching over me the whole time! ‘Make yourself at home’ she said. I did and it felt like home in more ways than one. Brambles Reach was a great place to stay for a weekend in Norfolk. We enjoyed the characterful decor, large garden with swings, peaceful and pretty location and the friendly and accommodating welcome from Shaun. The barn is ideally located to make trips to Holt, the beaches from Sheringham and Blakeney where we went on a boat trip to see the seals. The rustic kitchen is perfect for breakfasts and lunches, we had takeaway and ate out rather than cook for dinner.

Peaceful getaway with riverside walks

I needed someone to relax in peace and quiet to write. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect location. With a lovely view of my own private little garden with mature trees and in the quietest little hamlet just south of Aylsham, 30 mins drive from Norwich. The first day I went for a little evening walk by the river, or rather a kind of small river delta with little meter wide channels wending across a grassy plain, and saw a swan gliding along the water at sunset. The usual supermarkets and other shops in Aylsham and a mini M&S minutes away at a Shell garage on the A140. The Burgh valley railway is close by but as it’s a little miniature steam train this can only add to the ambience with a gentle toot-tooting every now and then. Kate and her partner Simon were the perfect hosts. 10/10.

Keswick mill is within 4 miles of Norwich within touching distance of a branch of Waitrose and two pubs, buses are also available. The mill and the river are like walking into your own Constable painting. It's a place you can unwind and Juju and family were the perfect hosts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anna's Wild Retreat with my family of 4 (incl 2 teenage boys), and it was a great experience. The yurts (1 for sleeping/chilling, 1 for dining/chilling) are incredibly comfortable and spacious, offering more than enough room to relax and unwind. The setting was absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful location with easy driveable access to various beauty spots in Norfolk (most famous beaches are approx 45 mins drive away). So whether you’re looking to explore the coastline, wander through charming villages, or simply enjoy the peaceful countryside, this is the perfect base. Anna also has various games/outdoor equipment to enjoy time at the site. Make sure you try the food provided by the host (request the menu). Every meal was outstanding, showcasing local ingredients and prepared with great care. It added a wonderful, personal touch to our stay.

The 'Beehive' is an excellent home for staycation. The surroundings are calm and lovely, the farm house has excellent amenities. Very convenient for families. Has a big lawn to play around the house. Close to few pubs and shops. The host were lovely and very responsive. Breakfast supplies were great. Overall, we loved the place and stay and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Norwich/Norfolk.

Peaceful luxury glamping in very beautiful surroundings. Stayed two nights in Biddy cabin. Was very comfortable, stylish, warm at night and thoughtfully laid out for great use of space. Very generous provision of breakfast items and other snacks which were a lovely touch. Hot tub brilliant and very easy to operate with clear instructions. Close to the most beautiful towns, villages and beaches of north Norfolk. Would love to stay again.
