We had a very relaxing, peaceful time at the cottage, it is the perfect place to recharge! Everything in the description is true. The place is spotless, tastefully done, awesome woodstove with wood supplied. The kitchen spice cupboard is a dream. The host even has some coffee if you run low. Everything is top of the line, what a treat! Another treat is feeding the birds, chipmunks, red squirrels and a friendly black one. Jars of food to share with our furry friends! This is our second time visiting. The location is easy to find and down the road from Apsley.Definitely worth the drive! Thanks Stephen we'll visit again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Such a peaceful setting and with a hot tub and fireplace, it was just what we wanted for our winter getaway. Check in was easy and communication with the host was prompt. My wife and I found the queen up in the loft to be very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. We love to cook so it can be a bummer when a kitchen feels like an afterthought. Not the case here, lots of prep space, plenty of cookware and utensils, and knifes were nice and sharp. Would be happy to stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this property, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Maddy is an amazing host who ensures everything is perfectly prepared and responds to all questions promptly. The place is spotless, exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing. Despite heavy snowfall during our stay, the driveway and parking area were thoroughly cleared, making it incredibly convenient. The property offers stunning views and is the perfect spot for a memorable getaway. My family and I spent our Christmas holidays here and had an amazing time. Thank you, Maddy, for everything! I highly recommend this place to everyone and would love to return again.

We stayed with Chris with our 4 small children and we were there when the ice storm hit. Chris was so caring and accommodating to us to ensure we had what we needed and were comfortable during our stay. At one point he even had to park his truck a ways away and walk to the cabin to make sure the generator was on for us because all of the trees being down blocking the roads. Not only were they super helpful and accommodating but the cottage was absolutely breath taking! Super private with so much to do and see even during the storm! I can’t recommend them enough, we will definitely be visiting again!!
