We had a wonderful time here on a short excursion out of the city! the cottage itself is magical with a beautiful view of the lake and a gorgeous back patio shaded by trees. Bryan and Pam were very helpful and had made sure to provide everything we needed and more

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mackenzies place. Great host that communicated very well with us. Property is great for kids with a beach front and 10 minute drive to the town of buckhorn.

What can I say... The place offered a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere the little cabine offered everything i was looking for my weekend getaway. Truly one of the best Air bnb experience I had. Great Lake view, the people were nice. I got to explore Bobcaygeon, which I have been meaning to. The host was great, our villa was great, with new like furniture. And was safe, will definitely be coming back.

Cute cottage with great amenities and host

We loved our stay at Tony's place in Victoria Harbour . The place is as described and literally steps away from lake and Trans Canada Trail . Its 10 minutes away from all major amentias and restaurants . The place is well equipped. We have stayed in so many Airbnb's and this is one of the most well organized place we have ever been to.. The place comes with pretty much all the amenities that truly made it home away from home . We would definitely be back here in Summer .

My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend, it was a great location, Joe was very responsive and friendly! We had only 1 concern with the bbq that was not clean, but it has been handled with effectively. Overall space was very clean, it was easy to find kitchen supplies, and other items in the house! A great location with stores, restaurants at a walking distance, and other attractions within a 30 minute drive

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

The cottage was nice, clean and quiet, easy to find and close enough to town (Lakefield) to secure any items we forgot, and a Tim's for those who can't go without. The waterway was quiet out to the larger lake area, easy enough to paddleboard or row out to. Plenty of fish off the dock if that is your go to. Not sure if it was just the season, but no mosquito bites at all, and with no bug spray on.. maybe we got lucky. Sean was easy and pleasant to communicate with, no issues at all during our stay.

My sister and I spent the weekend here and could not have had a better time! The lake was so beautiful and relaxing and the cabin was the perfect size. Angela is a top notch host and anyone would be lucky to stay here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Patti and Dennis’s place! The location is stunning- right next to the lake with great views. Patti and Dennis were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. We stayed with our 5 month old puppy, and they were so accommodating about it. We arrived earlier than the planned check-in time as our travel time was less than what we predicted. It meant a lot to us as first time pet travellers that we could check-in early. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We had to leave the place early unfortunately due to work call and couldn’t enjoy kayak or paddling that they offered. Highly recommend this gem of a stay to anyone looking for peace, beauty and genuinely lovely hosts!

Wonderful big modern home that accommodated all 12 of us. The inside is as beautiful as the outside. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the facilities and amenities inside the home as well as the breath taking scenery outside by the lake. It was so peaceful to sip our morning coffee on the deck enjoying the beautiful nature and afterwards kayaking and sunbathing. Our hosts & co-hosts were very friendly and replied quickly to all our inquiries. We highly recommend this place.

a really nice stay with Nat. the accommodations were perfect, nice and clean, everything you need is there in the accommodation. love the area, right by lake wilbermere great for swimming and fishing. quiet in the park at night which was really peaceful. accommodations are close to wilberforce. We absolutely fell in love with Ken’s cottage on Stoney Lake. The cottage was cozy and clean and well cared for. We love that the cottage opens right onto a dock. It feels like you’re on a houseboat! Despite there being cottages nearby it was so quiet and we also loved using the canoe he provided to explore the lake. Our favourite part by far was the private Nordic spa. It was so relaxing and peaceful to have this private space to relax in a stunning natural setting. The neighbours we met were very warm and we also love the nearby communities. It’s close to Lakefield for ammenities and small town charm. We love the care that Ken has put into this unique experience and we plan on coming back twice a year to recharge and reconnect with nature and ourselves. We will also be referring family and friends. Thanks Ken for letting us use your little slice of paradise.
