Stunning place to camp and fish the photos don’t do it justice, will definitely be coming back already planning a trip for the spring

Christine's cottage is super cozy, surrounded by beautiful nature. Being able to walk to Petroglyphs Provincial Park was amazing. The only downside is that there isn't really a kitchen - there is a hot plate, toaster over, microwave, BBQ and kettle, but no counter space, oven or sink. It was a bit awkward to cook meals. We still had a lovely stay! If you want to cook, plan accordingly! Thanks for the warm welcome and the beautiful little cottage! Side note: there were two of us and our dog, which was perfect. I will say, I think the place would be too tight for 6 adults to stay, even though it can sleep 6. 4 would be doable and cozy!

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. The cottage was nice, clean and quiet, easy to find and close enough to town (Lakefield) to secure any items we forgot, and a Tim's for those who can't go without. The waterway was quiet out to the larger lake area, easy enough to paddleboard or row out to. Plenty of fish off the dock if that is your go to. Not sure if it was just the season, but no mosquito bites at all, and with no bug spray on.. maybe we got lucky. Sean was easy and pleasant to communicate with, no issues at all during our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.

Great stay with our adult children and their partners. Appreciated the private basement sleeping area and washroom to give everyone privacy and space. Large kitchen table that easily fit us all. Beautiful sunsets on a peaceful sandy bottom lake. Nice to walk the long quiet road with our dogs and Lakefield was about 10 minutes away with cute small town shops. Nerissa checked in with us often to ensure a smooth trip. We would come back!

This cottage was breathtaking! We spent so much time on the deck and the dock enjoying the view! So peaceful and beautiful! The kayak was amazing for exploring the narrows and nearby lakes. The cottage road was lovely for hikes and for runs. What an amazing spot to get away from city life and spend time breathing in the fresh air! Highly recommend and would definitely come back! Robyn was a great host - quick to respond and make everything perfect!

This cottage is an absolute 10/10—clean, beautiful, and incredibly cozy. Even in the heart of winter, the views were breathtaking! But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our amazing hosts, Brent and Marina. A snowstorm hit during our visit, and when our car got stuck, Brent went above and beyond—arranging for a snowplow, offering us an extra night’s stay, and even helping us get our car running again. We couldn’t have made it home safely without his kindness and support. We’re beyond grateful for their hospitality and can’t wait to return in the summer!

We had great stay with Igor everything was as described he super friendly and responsive. The park is clean and everyone is really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we will return in the near future.

Absolutely beautiful, stunning, and great scenery. The cottage was equipped with things we didn’t even know we needed. It was a clean and safe experience, and I recommend any group of friends or family to this place. Shushma was also an amazing and polite owner

The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

Eric was super helpful. He even helped us to set fireplace. House was also very beautiful

Great spot for a relaxing time with the kids. Small beach perfect for very little ones, nice park and basketball all right there. Unit is well equipped and very clean. Thanks for a nice weekend in Bobcaygeon!

Quaint, peaceful and scenic stay for a relaxing weekend. The cabin was very clean and exceeded my expectations. The private beach across the cabins is an added bonus.

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

We loved our stay at Paul's cottage! The place was really nice and incredibly clean. Paul was very attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. It's right on the lake and the views were beautiful. Definitely would stay there again!

A wonderful spot - the cottage accommodated our group of 12 well with lots of space, full kitchen, and spaces to sleep. The lake is beautiful and the dock made for easy access for swimming or kayaking. We appreciated that the rental was dog friendly. John was a communicative host, and sent information promptly. Thanks for the great stay! Would highly recommend.

Perfect spot for a few days by the lake! Cabin was cozy and clean with everything we needed. We had great weather so just walked over the road and went for a canoe on the lake each day. Angela was super helpful and flexible. Will be back in the summer!

Patti and Dennis were amazing ! There was a bad snow storm and they allowed us to stay an extra night, to hunker down through the storm to make sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortable and safe. So nice ! The suite was warm clean and had very comfortable beds. It was very quiet and peaceful. The view of stoney lake was beautiful. It was the perfect winter retreat/getaway . I highly recommend this Inn. Definitely a 5 star stay ! We are very happy and thankful to find this hidden gem 💎

My family and I stayed here for one week. The location is excellent with a beautiful view and direct access to Rice Lake. Harraj communicated effectively and responded quickly to all requests & questions. She went out of the way to arrange a Kayak for my daughter. All amenities mentioned were available in abundance and of good quality. In short, we enjoyed it and will come here again. Will recommend this to my friends and relatives.

Such a beautiful and well maintained cottage. Kristy has really out done herself with this gem of a cottage. This cotaage has all the amenities that one could ask for yet still has a cottage/cabin feel to it. The cottage is very clean and well kept. The property is absolutely stunning. There are kayaks, 2 canoes, row boat and a stand up paddle board all for guest use, however i would have to say the water matt that is anchored infront of the private beach was the biggest hit with my group. The property set a perfect backdrop for taking pictures of my Son and his groomsmen before my sons wedding. There is no shortage of things to do at Barefoot Bungalow and Kristy and her family have definetly thought of everything to make your stay at there cottage a memorable one. So please if you stay here take care of it and leave it the way you found it. Kristy is an incredible host.

Felt right at home . The place was well kept . Was clean and tidy . Everything was very thoughtfully arranged and designed. Will come back for sure !
