Carriage House on the Rock is a two minute walk to Westwood Lake Park that offers world-class mountain bike trails and hiking. A cozy one bedroom carriage house that is fully appointed. A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

Enjoy your stay in this cozy, bright one-room suite. The space features one full-sized bed along with a pull-out couch. A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. A barn on the property is home to numerous chickens, giant bunnies, and two inquisitive emus. Enjoy a memorable vacation in this beautiful setting!

Swell Shack Off-Grid Tiny Cabin w/ Sauna For Rent

This rustic off-grid micro cabin is 106 sq. ft. but feels much bigger, nicely nestled away in the mossy forest. Sleeps two in a queen bed in the loft. Minutes from surfing and hiking trails, you’re in the right place for epic adventures. We built our cabin using mainly reclaimed materials. We wanted to build a place that had minimal impact on the environment. It has on demand hot water, rainwater catchment, and solar powered electricity. We also have a beautiful sauna available to rent.

A hop skip and a jump away from Shawnigan Lake and the Kinsol Trestle, our 200sq ft cozy dwelling is located in a quiet neighborhood, with many hiking and mountain biking trails near by. The room has a double bed with a pull out couch and extra bedding if needed. Brought a bottle of wine? Pop it in the mini fridge! The coffee maker is ready for your peaceful morning. Private entrance with a small area to sit out front. Want to have a fire? No problem. Fire pit is ready to go.

Located on a quiet winding road just minutes from downtown Duncan and situated on a 8.5 acre vineyard and winery that feels like you may be in the middle of nowhere. A fully furnished 950 sq/ft suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and very comfortable to accommodate a group of 4 with the added bonus of a pull out to sleep up to 6. While you are here and getting to know the ropes enjoy all the; local wineries/breweries, tea farm, fresh farm food, local artisans and marinas all within minutes of our location. Take a short walk down to the kayak rental if you’re feeling like you want to play in the water, or just enjoy laying on the beach.

Our 300 sq. ft. cottage is situated on a 2.5 acre property where we reside. The location is perfect for those who want to have a place to relax after exploring the local vineyards, farmers’ markets, parks, beaches and walking trails. The cottage’s style mimics that of the main house, which is about 60 feet away from the cottage. We respect your privacy, and will leave you to yourselves. We love meeting new people and are LGBTQ+ friendly!
