A lovely abode above cowichan bay, beautiful views and a serene backyard! Quite nicely appointed , would recommend!

This has to one of the best (if not the best) Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! The suite and property truly exceeded our expectations and was the perfect relaxing and cozy home away from home to return to after a long day of exploring the island. The grounds of the property are stunning and very well maintained. Joanne and Tim were so hospitable, providing clear instructions on how to get there and a thorough list of local restaurants, cafes, and excursions to explore. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extremely relaxing and zen stay on the island!

Very clean, quiet, spacious, peaceful, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped and stocked with what we needed. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Having a private BBQ and outdoor seating area and swing was also a nice bonus !! we saw tons of birds and deer that even came into the yard. very cool. The private suite is in a great location for visiting sooke, and a short drive to the beautiful Juan de fuca beaches and hikes. very great value for the place, we all agreed that we would stay here again!

I stayed here before and decided to come again with other travelling companions. The location is beautiful. The home is a beautiful space with everything we needed, including a wonderful view. With the big windows, we could see robins building their nest under the home’s balcony while also being able to watch eagles flying by over the water. Sharon was responsive with texting even though she was away during our stay. There is a nearby small commercial space with two food trucks serving excellent food if you want a respite from cooking. We could either choose to eat there before driving out of the area for the day, or to stop off for dinner on our way back. I highly recommend Sharon’s place if you are looking for a rural oceanside getaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kelly’s suite by the sea! The space was even better than we expected - appears to be recently renovated with modern finishes, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Kelly was super responsive, helpful, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay!

Madeleine and Ben really were super hosts, very friendly and welcoming to their home, the suite had everything you might need and was the perfect place to come back to and relax after a day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful location, better than what the pictures show. Peaceful surroundings and a friendly host… what else do you need? Maybe cute slippers waiting for you at the door? Checked! It’s on top of a hill, make sure you have a car but don’t hesitate to book!

Lisa and Gary were great hosts and their property is beautiful, especially the yard and views of the harbour. The suite is small but well-equipped and very bright. The highlights for us were enjoying the views from the hot tub and meeting Calvin the dog. Highly recommend staying here!

This was our second time at Ryan's and it never disappoints. Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. Already planning our next trip just so we can be sure to stay here. Beautiful property, view and very relaxing. Hot Tub- awesome. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable and place very clean! Sweet retreat is magic. It is extremely quiet and beautiful tucked into the mountainside. Do yourself a favour and book. It's amazing. The place is incredibly clean and set up well with everything needed for cooking. They set us up with extra for our baby and it was easy to baby proof the stairs for a kid newly on the move. So happy they are dog friendly, being able to have him on the island was great. the town is very dog friendly as well. can pretty much take them anywhere. Nice trails around the house too, and right out the door. Ganges is only ten minutes away which is perfect. There are also so many cool places on the way there. The brewery is walking distance and easy to grab a few beers on the way back to the house. I can't speak highly enough about this spot. Thank you Rebecca and Mark, we will see you again hopefully sooner than later. Also a must see is the chocolate shop and get some gelato because yum!!

This is the most beautiful location, the ocean views, the early morning sunrises, outstanding.

To be honest it didn't feel like a BnB, it was closer to a retreat in having a private suite in a resort. This suite has a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy huge beautiful trees, quiet area where the sounds of traffic is to an absolute minimum. The neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful. The suite has a Barrel Sauna!!!! It gets HOT!!! My wife and I loved getting a few sweat sessions in before bed and in the morning. feeling so rejuvenated! What a wonderful cozy choice! Super close to gorgeous trails of the Lagoon by the ocean!!!! Definitely a recommendation for this area of the island and Sylvie is super responsive and friendly!!!

The Mushroom Manor was a lovely spot for a peaceful get away from the city! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the house was so cozy and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

A very gorgeous, private location. A very short drive away to town and many hiking trails, lakes, and fun things to do. The host respected my privacy, but answered any request I had promptly. The hot tub was a wonderful thing to have at the end of a long day. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Saltspring Island! Thank you for having me.

I had a great stay! The listing (including the view) was just as described and Laura and Thomas were very responsive and friendly. They also had lots of great recommendations that really enhanced my stay. I would book again in a heartbeat!

Just as shown in listing, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. If I had one suggestion it might be to have a couple of extra throws/blankets in the cupboard to use if needed. The sheets were lovely and soft but the quilt on top was thin and more of a summer weight and it was a bit cooler at night than we’d anticipated.

We had a very comfortable stay. The Airbnb was stocked with everything we needed (and more!) and they provided extra snacks for our fussy toddler. The host were also quick to respond and the place was spotless! Would definitely recommend.

Was a wonderful little get away, very private and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Kim was very flexible and great communication. Would definitely book again, we felt right at home!
