The cabin can be enjoyed year-round, with many activities and excursions in the area: mountain hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, biking, rafting, golf, disc golf, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing (from the cabin!), tobogganing, etc. Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken (Bear Park) are also worth a visit. Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. The cabin is equally suitable for families with children who want access to alpine, cross-country skiing, activities, as for couples or friends who want to enjoy quiet days, long mountain trips or just relax in front of the fireplace. Here you will have: - possibility of a pre-filled refrigerator - nice outdoor area for coffee in the sun - walking distance to restaurants - high standard/well-equipped.

Large and great cabin in unique nature

In this spacious cabin, the whole big family can enjoy the high mountains. The architect-designed cabin "Fjordblikk" was built in 1970 and the older part has retained authentic and stylish details from the decade. In the new part from 2021 there is modern design and large glass surfaces. The entire cabin is modernized and has all the amenities: From sauna with a view to electric car charger. The cabin is located in a remote location overlooking Ustevann, Ustetind and the surrounding mountains. There is a bustling animal and bird life around the cabin.

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

Mountain cabin with amazing views in a quiet area

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Large and cozy family cabin at Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from highway 7. Road all the way up which was plowed in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernized and expanded in 2015. There are nice outdoor areas where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well-behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring bed linen and towels. Guests must clean before departure, but may choose to use our regular help for washing (see below).
