Cabin for up to 4 guests with Hallingdalselva as the closest neighbour. Nice outdoor area and rowboat and kayaks for free use in summer. Guests can bring bed linen and towels themselves, and clean the cabin before departure. Or final cleaning can be arranged and left to us at an additional cost NOK 600,- and bed linen/towels are rented NOK 125,- per person. The cabin is newly renovated in the winter of 23/24, with, among other things, a new bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher.

Beautiful home in Uvdal with kitchen

Great traditional cabin. Peaceful and quiet, with a lovely view that is not in the middle of a modern close cabin area. It feels like you've been on a "proper Norwegian cabin trip". Was extra fun to use wood-fired oven for cooking 😍 (was a regular oven there as well, but it's not as fun😄) Great akebakke right outside the door as well. Recommended 👍

Great house in beautiful surroundings with great hiking opportunities right outside the door. Elisabeth responded quickly and made nice recommendations for activities. Really enjoyed in both the house and the area. Happy to come back!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

It is clear that a lot of love and attention has been paid to the apartment, we felt right at home when we entered. There were also (extra) everything, candles, kitchen supplies and ample cleaning supplies. The apartment is super convenient to ski lifts and nature. Jimmy and Rebecca are very thoughtful and proactive hosts, if I could have given an extra star I would have done it! 🌟

Lovely place, with fab host! Ski in ski out was great. Loads of space. Lovely apartment in a lovely spot. The house had everything we needed and felt very homely and cosy. Would happily recommend.

Overall very happy. Very cozy apartment where you could feel at home.

Lovely apartment right on the slopes. Clean and tidy and with a lovely view of the piste and the area. Parking is easy in the underground parking close to the apartment. Jorunn is super accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. We hope to go back to the apartment again next year, so top recommendation from here 🙂

Steffen is an excellent host. kind, respectful, responsive and really wants his guests to have a great time. The apartment is in a fantastic location especially for families. it looks over the kids slope so once we had had enough, the kids could keep going under our watchful eye. the bedrooms have very comfortable two person beds (? king or superking) and the ski closet in the entrance was spacious and so useful. the kids enjoyed the separate tv area in their down time. modern, lovely decor, spacious, warm, brilliantly.located. parking steps away in the garage.
