Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nagara River

A wonderful stay surrounded by gardens. Hosts were extremely welcoming and responsive. Great place in the mountains!

Perfect location ,clean & comfortable

It was a comfortable place to stay with plenty of bedrooms and a large hot spring, perfect for a three-generation trip.I went to Nagashima Spa Land, so the location was also excellent!

The sauna while listening to the babbling of the Itadori River and the birds singing was really great! There were plenty of options for meals, as the kitchen and BBQ facilities were well equipped. It was fully equipped with electrical appliances, and I had a stress-free time in an environment with easy-to-understand manuals. It's beautiful wherever you walk on the large grounds, and I really wanted to stay here for a long time🏠 In addition, the owner was very polite and responded quickly, so I was able to relax. It seems that it will be even more worthwhile if we stay for consecutive nights, so we would like to stay for more consecutive nights next time! I think this quality and price is exceptional, even if you don't stay consecutive nights. I don't want it to be too well known, but I want to recommend it to everyone😊

We had no trouble finding the hotel from the train. It was a walking distance and it was quite a lovely walk because you see all the different stores and restaurants. We arrived early so we rested in the lounge and then went shopping and had lunch. Finally, our room was ready and we were very impressed with the decor as well as a cleanliness. We especially loves the outdoor onsen which made you feel really relaxed as you listen to the birds. Our next night was with another Iori property so they transported our luggage to the next destination (so that we didn’t have to lug it around on the bus). Overall, we would be returned!

We had a little trouble getting there by train…but as soon as we arrived, our worries disappeared. We were greeted by Miwa's mother who was immediately very kind and inviting. She gave us a tour of the accommodation with explanations. She only speaks a little English, but she used her phone to translate for us, which was very much appreciated. For the remainder of the stay, she was always available to answer any questions we may have. We also did business with her for the rental of electric bicycles, a very pleasant activity. On our last night, Miwa's mom even came to offer us a homemade dessert. The accommodation itself is a traditional house that is too cute and very spacious. In short, great experience, we loved it. ❤️

We had a very pleasant stay at this house in Takayama, ideally located, which made it easy for us to get around. The accommodation was simple, perfect for discovering the region. Our hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating, always ready to help us and make our stay easy and enjoyable. Great place for a convenient and carefree stay in Takayama!

a spacious convenient space for two nights!

The location is the most convenient place for Nagoya transportation, the subway/underground street is just two minutes away, especially the famous coffee breakfast shop downstairs.

Very classy and nice place. Appreciated luxury interior. We had a short night stay so didn’t venture out much, but the area was nice.

The apartment was as described and the location was off from the main road so it was very quiet and also a very nice location. Mr. Mizoguchi and his wife were so nice and kind to us. I would definitely recommend the stay!

Mary is very supportive and thoughtful host. I really like the room which gave me the feeling of sweet home. The location is very convenient to go to center via subway. I strongly recommend this place.

Summer is great! The location was perfect for shopping and fun restaurants. It was perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. I actually felt. very lucky to find a place where we were so close to so much. Highly recommend 💞

The place is very clean, neat and tidy. Has really good quality amenities including an espresso machine, a dryer room. It's very easy to find as it appears on the map directly when you put House Nozomi Hayashi San is very responsive and looked into one of our concerns immediately. It's near a bus stop with multiple buses going into the town. Katsuragawa station is about 1.5 KM, so bit of a walk when you have luggage or are tired. But we got cabs fairly easily. Do your research on places you want to travel to in Kyoto so you can see if the location works for you. In terms of convenience, lots of shops, supermarkets etc are available. It feels spacious. It would have been better to have access to the wardrobe, but we had a short stay so we did not mind living out of our suitcases. Overall good place, good amenities, location is good but that's subjective. Good, professional host.

Great little apartment which was surprisingly spacious for Japan!

This is an extraordinary place. The location is in the heart of the buzzing Gion district, and everything easily walkable. They hosts were helpful & flexible with us leaving bags before and after. The space is unbelievable and rare. It's very spacious, which was a relief after being crammed in prior hotels. Basically it is a giant and very cool room, with attached bathroom and laundry wing. Bedding comfy. The place feels funky. It has absolutely everything you could need. It is not a shared space with anyone else, it's all yours and private. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the space was perfect. Huge room to run and climb, with plastic kitchenware, toys and books. As the host mentions, it is across the hall from a rooftop bar that can be a little noisy, but also distant bars and the district is noisy and busy in general, it was okay. It was neat and fine but could use a deep clean (it would be a hard space to keep perfect), but overall wonderful. 10/10.
