Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Nagara River

Looked like the pictures. The only bad thing was that there was only one lock in the front door keeping anyone out.

Loved this place and felt right at home. A beautiful apartment, really safe and secure in a quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes walk to major train stations/bus routes. Great host, really helpful communications and checked in on us a few times via text

We had a nice time in this apartment. It is spacious and is centrally located in Takayama. Everything was very clean and tidy.

Chie & Chris's place is located in a tiny, very quiet alley in the heart of Gion. There are several temples & shrines located within walking distance, & we found incredible restaurants nearby. They gave us clear instructions on what to tell the cab driver to get there, & self check-in was easy. The accomodations were pristinely clean. The master bedroom with a large Western style bed is upstairs, & the steps are steep which was no issue for us at all but might be for elderly, injured, or handicapped folks. My 6'5" husband had to be careful to duck under door frames because of his height but staying in a historic machiya was worth the small effort. Our 14-year-old son slept on a futon on the main level & loved it. Communication was excellent, & they gave us numerous recommendations for restaurants. There is a Lawson konbini & a grocery store close by, as well as a quaint bar across the alley. We loved being within walking distance of the action coupled with the quietness of the night.

Stayed as a group of three on a family trip. The building, interior and garden are all lovely, and staying here provides quite a unique experience that you can't get from a regular hotel. It's a few minutes away from a Family Mart, and less than a 10-minute walk from Gojo station. The number 5 bus near the station also goes through the central shopping area, and toward many sightseeing spots. Inside there are two separate spaces/tables to spend time together as a group, and the shower and bath feel quite luxurious. The two beds are comfortable, and one person can get the full futon experience in the other room. It's a little close to a main road, but it didn't seem to affect my sleep at night.

Wonderful beds, very comfortable. Great ramen in area. Parking spot! Very good washer/dryer. Good shower. Effective A/C & heat. Close to Kenrokuen Garden. Very satisfied with accommodation.

Great house and host. Very responsive and helpful. The wifi cable wasn’t working and the host kindly left a replacement one for us. They also sent us some recommendation of restaurant near by and we were able to check in earlier than our time which was helpful.

We used it as a graduation trip for a group of four men and women!The room was equipped with all the daily necessities, and I had no problems!It became one of my best memories!

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Great walkable location for us. Would 100% recommend. The host gave us lots of local recommendations and we even managed to catch a local festival because of it.

The place was great! I LOVED that every room had a bathroom and shower! That was amazing for us. The family mart was very close. I’d suggest staying on the main roads to get to the trains. The rooms were great! I do wish there were more towels. I loved that the washer had a 54min quick wash and easily able to dry clothes on the balcony. The showers always felt amazing. The check in and checkout process is super easy and simple. The one thing that surprised us was the very narrow and steep stairs to get to each floor. Otherwise, each room was very spacious! By Japan's standards, Kyoto House is palatial. The outdoor tub and garden are as luxe as it gets. And it's a genuine 80-year-old property to boot. We got a really great deal and even though it was still expensive, was worth every penny.

We had a lovely stay! Very comfy beds and lots of room for the 3 of us, loved the tub too!

The host for this Airbnb is very responsive and helpful. She provided some snacks on table and in refrigerator, which was very helpful since we had not gone to convenient store yet. She had the unit stocked with toiletries if we had needed. The down side to the unit would be the stairs, if someone has any type of disability the stairs would be quite difficult, there are a lot and very narrow winding steep stairs . Showers are on bottom floor of the three floors. No sink on third level, only toilet. This could potentially pose a problem for someone. We made it work, but could be quite difficult for others. Please read house rules very carefully. Host was gracious enough to let us leave our luggage at front door after our check out, that really helped since check out was at 10:00am and our flight did not depart until 5:55. Kansai airport is about 45 -50 min drive from Airbnb without traffic. Train station family mart & mega Donkey Quijote were all in same corner only 5-7 min walk. :)

As Americans we were mostly here to see the Peace Park and other things associated with the WW2 atrocity. This place is perfectly situated for that, as it is directly across from the park, and a short stroll to the Dome. Highly recommended.

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

We were traveling with 2 couples and had a car. After 2 weeks of busy cities and small guesthouses, we wanted a home we could cook dinner, linger at the dinner table, sit outside and play board games. We found that surprisingly hard to find in Japan. This home was modern, comfortable and has it all to hang out as a family or small group of friends. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear it at all. But it did let us sit outside and play mellow music and enjoy the evenings. Osam is a host in an old school way, checking in regularly to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to offer assistance. The location is relatively close to Nara Park, which is worth a day. It’s a long 1 hour drive to either Kyoto or Osaka, but we spent half days at both and were grateful to go “home” to Osam’s place at the end of the day. Worth staying 3-4 nights to relax and explore this part of Japan.

We had a great vacation with very polite service.

We used it for offsite Mtg of the company. It's a very private space. A team of 6 people can have a Mtg in the room. We also had a warm and welcoming stay outside at the BBQ. They came to pick us up at the meeting point. He was kind enough to guide and guide the accommodation, and carefully taught how to use it. I think we had a really great time staying here.Thank you!!!

Anyway, it's fully equipped. Everything is sparkling clean. It is good because it has a high fence as a private space. I'll use it again.

It was very clean and the HDMI cable was also available, which was very helpful!

8 of us used it, and it was very well equipped We had a comfortable stay. Also, the weather on the day was bad and the temperature was low, but the wood stoves inside and outside were fresh and warm, and it was great. I want to book next time during a warm season.

What a lovely place to stay ! Doesn't get any better for a homestay vacation. Close to the train station and with convenient parking available. Room was charming and had all the amenities needed for our week's stay including a PSP player and screen projector. The beach was a short 5 min walk away to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Definitely would recommend if you intend to rent a car to check out Kanazawa and the surrounding areas.

I stayed in late March.There was still a lot of snow around, and I was worried, but they kindly guided me and arrived safely.The room felt fresh with a lot of dinosaurs.It was said that an open-air bath and BBQ could be used during the snowy season, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.Thank you very much.
